Very tight grain and consistent color. 90-100% Heart because the tightest grain lies at the edge of the heart near the sap wood off the pith. Very limited nail holes or knots. Very limited sap streaking and pitch pockets. Factory Grade is a mix of #1 & #2 boards that contain linseed oil or cottonseed oil from being the floor boards, subfloor and joists under heavy industrial equipment from the turn of the century.
