I’m not sure why anyone would choose Courtney’s again after dining there once. Don’t bother going unless you have several hours to kill, the service is incredibly slow. Don’t order anything that isn’t seafood - and even that is questionable frankly. If you’ve eaten at any other restaurant in your life, you’ll be horrified by what you experience at Courtney’s.

Tom Courtney and his wife Julie have put together a fantastic restaurant. It's notba new place but is new to me. Tom is a Waterman so the seafood served is fresh and deliciously prepared by Julie. When Tom returns from the water he serves as the man with the plan in the front of the house. If you own your own business, especially a restaurant you know what that means. Today that meant he was host and waiter for the approximately 6 tables full of guests including our party of 10. Tom moves efficiently and you can tell he's filled these positions more than a few times. The food was prepared with

Fresh fish is light and fluffy, consider eating at Courtney's restaurant for that experience. My son and I had the rockfish, delicious, and I had the crab soup as well, also lovely. We then had the blackberry cobbler followed by the peach cobbler. The desserts are made in house, and you can taste the wholesomeness of the ingredients. It is a family business. The father took our order, the mother did all the cooking, and the daughter waited on us. Do know that it is rustic inside - it is not a posh restaurant, but an old school waterfront dive with delicious, fresh food.

Talk about stepping back in time ... Courtney’s is at the end of the road right at a dock. “Catch of the Day” is what Mr. Courtney caught in the morning. Oysters are fresh from the water and shucked by Mr. Courtney ... and wait for it ... Mr. Courtney was the hostess, server, and bus boy. Plus, the food was outstanding! I can’t say enough about the time warp that you need to try ;-)

This restaurant had a beautiful view and was I'm sure popular with the locals but the silverware was dirty. The server was kind but we were the only ones there when we went. The food took longer than expected. It was ok, but greasy. My daughter and I had stomach issues perhaps because we don't often order extremely greasy food regularly. There were crayons and little figurines for the kids to play with but my husband found them on his own. This perhaps was a really great place back when it opened but it has seen better days and the years haven't been kind. Not horrible. Not great. Great view and
