Services
It impairs vision by blocking and scattering incoming light. Cataract surgery is performed when normal activities [working, reading, and driving] become difficult. Cataract development is very common and occurs in 60% of older adults and affects 24 million Americans. There are multiple factors associated with cataract development including ultraviolet light exposure, diabetes, drug use, smoking, and unfortunately the natural process of aging.
Keep seeing and looking your best by having your eyes checked annually. Many of Dr. Anderson's patients come in for an eye exam to make sure their eyes remain healthy. At your first visit and depending on your eye health, you will undergo a complete Ocular Analysis using a panel of the most advanced and proven diagnostic technology available.
Refractive Lens Exchange, also called lens replacement surgery or clear lens extraction. This is where the aging lens is replaced with a new lens. Like the lenses in your eyeglasses, your implant will contain the correct prescription to give you the best possible vision. With advancements in lens technology it is now possible to have high quality vision for both far and near.
