We help Kansas residents file for bankruptcy relief in and around Abilene, Atchison, Emporia, Junction City, Kansas City, Lawrence, Leavenworth, Lenexa, Manhattan, Olathe, Ottawa, Overland Park, Salina, Topeka and most anywhere else in NE Kansas under the Bankruptcy Code. Individuals can file bankruptcy without an attorney, which is called filing pro se.
However, seeking the advice of a qualified attorney is strongly recommended because bankruptcy has long-term financial and legal outcomes. Filing personal bankruptcy under Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 takes careful preparation and understanding of legal issues. Misunderstandings of the law or making mistakes in the process can affect your rights.

Mr. Harper was very friendly and helpful with answering all of my questions and helping me know what information I need to get together and what I can and can't do.
He also was willing to come out to my house once to save me a about 90 minutes from his office, and help facilitate everything that needed to happen.
