Had a water leak from an upstairs bathroom to the bathroom directly below. FMH responded quickly, inspected and took samples for mold and was kind enough to refer us to another company for the asbestos testing. Upon their evaluation they quickly came in to contain the affected area, and work on the mold remediation. Workers took measures to wear masks and foot booties when entering our home. Would recommend them to friends and family.

5 stars all the way for Darren and his team! It's never a good feeling when you discover mold in your home. Darren makes you feel at ease with the entire process. He was quick to come out to my house and he took his time explaining the steps he will take to remediate the situation. Not only that, he is extremely honest/genuine and he was always available any time of day to answer questions that I had along the way. My family and I are so thankful to have found Darren and we can rest easy knowing our home is mold free !

This company is incredible. After a few days away from home, I opened my front door and was in shock to see water covering my whole house. I searched online and found many flood service providers and Fix My Home. They answered my call on a Sunday night
and Alec came out within an hour. These guys got to work immediately and within a few hours the water on the floors was gone. The following day FMH came out with a crew. Ken, Oscar and Alec as well as Darren. They showed great care with what was happening at my home.

Called FMH and Ken arrived the same day to walk us through what needed to done to be safe and fix our mold problem due to a slow leak from our built in fridge icemaker. His team arrived the following morning. They were clean, polite, wore masks and protective gear and did a great job. We had a leak in a closet next to a bathroom. After removing part of the wall I had the leak fixed. But, what about the rest of the walls that were moist? or the flooring that was wet as well? I didn't want to take any chances with mold since my son has respiratory issues. I called FMH and they came out within two days. After taking several readings it was determined that they needed to remove the flooring in the closet and the adjoining wall. I was provided a very reasonable quote. We had bad water damage to our floor and reached out to Fix My Home for help. They were so wonderful. They couldn't have been more helpful, honest, and professional. The price they gave us was very fair, and honestly I would have paid twice that for the quality of work we received. I think the nicest thing is that no one every tried to oversell us or make the damage seem worse than it was. They were so honest about everything. I really appreciate this company for the hard work they did for us. We had a leak that caused serious water damage that we thought would be irreversible. I hired Fix My Home for a limited mold testing and microbial testing. Darren gave me an impressive 1-hr window for an ETA; Barrett got here at the beginning of it.
Barrett was professional, knowledgeable, and a clear communicator. I appreciated that he wasn’t a robot that just came and went. I had a water pipe burst under my house resulting in a flooded foundation. Plumbers would not do the needed repairs until a water restoration company completely dried out the foundation. I had a small leak in one of my bathrooms that leaked down into the garage, which I had mold build up through the sub-floor and ceiling of the garage because neglected to take of this issue quickly. Called FMH on a Wednesday, and Darren was able to come in the next day. Originally was worried about some moisture damage in the ceiling, but Darren found some black mold under the sink that was not remediated all the way from the previous home owners.

Darren & his team literally "Fixed my home". My wife had developed a cough that got worse over time. After 3 months & a trip to our MD, we saw an allergist who found that my wife is allergic to a specific type of mold. I found FMH on Yelp & gave Darren a call. He took air sample from each room in the house & one sample from outside. He found a high concentration of that mold in the master bedroom. But there were also levels of it throughout the house.

I have nothing but good things to say about Darren and FMH. Darren is truly the best home related person I’ve ever hired. He is super responsive and professional, the kind of person you want to give business to because he is so nice and honest and knows his field.
