During your photoshoot, we are not going to just take pictures. We are going to have a lot of laughs together! Tell me about things your family does together that make you smile. We are going to start the session by getting to know each other. We will engage, play a game, get everyone comfortable, and then we will get down to having fun, which actually means shooting.
It will not be boring. We will do a few of the standard shots but the majority of the time it will not be posed. I want you engaging your children, snuggling, and having a good time. I promise that we will laugh together! We live in Florida but whenever we are in town we schedule a session with Alison.

Yes, that's me: the woman who would rather be behind the camera than in front of it. As you can see, I am Mom to three adorable children and Wife to that very handsome and amazing father. As a mom, I know it's extremely important to have memories because our kids grow too fast.

During the 5 week class we will learn about the camera, camera care, how to take a great picture and aesthetics of art. For the first 4 weeks you will receive a 12-20 minute video which will walk you through that weeks concepts as well as the project for the week. You will then have a 30 minute Zoom with Alison and some of our photography friends to talk about that weeks concepts as well as have a gallery show of last weeks assignment.
I focus on capturing the essence of a family. What makes you lovable, unique and authentic. I love the in-between moments. The tickle fights, the moment before a kiss, the windblown hair, and letting kids be kids, is what I am all about. Weather will be up to the discretion of the photographer. The session will be rescheduled in case of rain.
