Back to Basic is a licensed early care and education center with staff trained to provide outstanding education, individual attention, and devoted care for the children. Our child care center was founded to provide quality care in an environment conducive to love and learning for the individual growth of each child enrolled.
Sharon Baker is a long time educator and advocate for youth. She received a B.S. in Social Work from Texas Southern University. She furthered her education by attending LeTourneau University and studied under the Teacher Certification Program. Since graduating from college, her main priority has been the well-being of youth throughout Houston and surrounding areas.
It brings great pleasure to our child care center when we inform parents that we offer the popular Abeka curriculum. The curriculum is designed for the developmental level, abilities, and interest of the children, as well as their spiritual foundation in mind. Abeka is essential to our child care program and is implemented as our core curriculum.
We understand shuffling between day to day activities can be very tiring and nerving for many parents. That is why our daycare places emphasis on providing a safe haven for your infant. Our son has been here since he was 12 weeks old. They've shown him nothing but love and attention. They've been very communicative of what milestones he's working on or will be ready for soon. Staff is very friendly and responds quickly to emails or phone calls.

I love it here for my 2 year old.She enjoys school and learning ABEKA has taught her so much.The small classes of course provide that one on one attention she definitely needs. I love Ms Sharon and Ms.Q with my little one we also had our niece here at one point and Ms. Maria and Mrs. Kris really helped turn her behavior around. I really appreciate all thew ladies here taking time out with my kids and making me feel okay as a parent to leave them while we work.It has been a very uneasy feeling with daycare but I am thankful for such humble and sweet spirits to ease my mind and let me know shes secure
