When the sun goes down, light and shadow become the most important design elements. Outdoor lighting design should define space, direct the eyes, soothe emotions, and invite you in. Light gives us security and functionality while creating shadow to bring out definition. The simple textured surface of a stonewall during the day, can become a work of art when mixed with light and shadow at night.
Let us show you how outdoor lighting will provide a whole new dimension and use of your existing landscape and hardscape investment. Mike Imondi graduated with his Bachelors of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture in 1987 from West Virginia University. He moved back to central Ohio and was hired in design/sales for a large landscape contractor where he worked several more years.

Services
We are locally owned and operated, serving only the Central Ohio area. We are not a national franchise whose products and creativity are dictated by corporate guidelines. LDF has a certification from the Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals, multi-year Angie's List Super Service awards, and an A+ BBB Rating.
LDF is not a landscaping company that also does lighting. We also aren't a franchise. All we do is lighting. It is our sole passion and focus. Since we are not a franchise, we are only accountable to our customers, not a national corporation dictating what products to use and streamlining creativity into a one size fits all package.
If you discover that none of the lights in your system are working, there are few quick fixes to look at before you give us a call. Often, when the entire system is not working it usually ends up being the easiest fix. Below is a guide to trouble shoot the most common causes of the entire system not coming on.
The first step in designing the lighting layout for my customers is to evaluate what to light and what level of light to do it with. That's where the creativity comes into play but it is the second step where the challenges often lie: "how do we light this?" A good lighting contractor will not allow obstacles and logistical challenges to dictate his/her ultimate vision.
Please note, this questionnaire is intended for LDF customers who have purchased a 2021 maintenance agreement. If your transformer is located in a garage, basement, or locked portion of your property, or if your street has gated access, how would you like us to coordinate access with you? Although we cannot schedule a specific date for your spring/fall maintenance, we would be happy to coordinate a before or after date.

I have owned a home for over 30 years. During that time I have used many, many contractors for all sorts of jobs. Mike is the best, bar none. His pricing is reasonable and fair, he takes the time to create a plan and is painstaking about making sure the job is done right and, if a problem comes up, he is available to take care of it promptly.
