The nose is made of two nasal passages which are separated by the septum, made of bone and cartilage. The inside of the nose is lined by mucosa which has tiny hair like structures called cilia. The cilia filter the air we breathe in trapping unwanted particles such as dust and dirt. On the inside of the outer nasal wall there are three bony projections called turbinates.

This was the worse experience ever in all my years attending any doctor's office with such lack of follow-up, an uncaring staff with poor communication skills, and, not to mention, numerous double billings.

I underwent a balloon sinuplasty procedure performed by Dr. Williams. Before having the procedure, I was experiencing a lot of congestion and I could not smell. I felt as if my quality of life had significantly decreased. However, since the procedure, my sense of smell has returned. I am able to breathe in more air. I would honestly recommend this procedure to anyone who is suffering from a loss of smell and sinus problems.
