Tender Hearts was started in 2005 due to an increasing need for Pediatric Home Medical Equipment & Medical Supplies by the owner Kirk Petrie, RRT. Kirk is a NICU / PICU respiratory therapist whose many years working at the hospital in NICU and on the transport team has prepared him for this challenge.
Too many children were going without quality home medical care. We specialize in neonatal and pediatric respiratory care. We provide the basics like nebulizers and oxygen to the most sophisticated ventilators and monitors. We gladly accept all forms of Medicaid and most private insurance, and as always, self pay is okay too.

We will increase the quality of care for patients in the home setting by providing the best home medical equipment and services. We are committed to honesty, integrity, and the experience that will allow us to make a difference, one person at a time. At Tender Hearts we are large enough to provide excellent care with all of the latest equipment but small enough to know each family by name.
Tender Hearts has a full line of Respiratory Products to help our patients thrive at home. We have oxygen for home and portable use and Nebulizers for inhaled medications. Our concentrators are the Respironics Everflo concentrators which can use both Pediatric and Adult flow meters. Our Nebulizers are all Pediatric specialized, fun animals for our machines and our masks and circuits are as well.
At Tender Hearts we believe one of the most important aspects in patients succeeding at home is comprehensive, in-depth training. We teach all caregivers involved with patient care everything they need to know to properly use all of the equipment and supplies. We will set the patient up at home prior to discharge, train caregivers, and help organize the medical equipment and medical supplies.

I was very excited to find a company with pumps. I contacted this company back in Oct 2016 for pump and to check for coverage they told me everything was fine and they were going to locate a pump and send it to me closer to my due date. It is now July 2017 and I'm being told I have to pay out of pocket for the pump because they did not bill my insurance till later. I now have Aetna and they say they can't help me and they are going to send me to collections. Heather was very rude And not helpful.

My wife and I had an excellent customer service experience when ordering an electric breast pump. Our customer service representative answered all our questions regarding health insurance coverage and handled all our paperwork in a professional and courteous manner. Our baby was born on Sunday, we called and ordered the breast pump on Monday and it was delivered on Tuesday! Our customer service representative even went the extra mile to go to UPS and drop off our breast pump package on her way home from work.
