Services
David Clowe is a 30+ year veteran in the tax industry with a broad range of experience. In early 1979, while at a crossroads in his education, he took a job preparing tax returns for the local CPA firm Elms Faris & Company in Midland, TX. That experience propelled him into a career in the field of Taxation.

Whether you are just starting a business, nearing retirement, or somewhere in between, we can assist you in preparing a tax efficient plan to achieve success along the way. Once we have worked together to provide you with a complete plan, you will need to stay in compliance with the various federal, state and local tax filing requirements.
As you may or may not know, Judith passed away in August of 2016. As the new owner, I intend to continue in the tradition of JD Sumter & Associates' caring customer service and community involvement. I bring 38 years of experience in taxation and work with individuals, small businesses, trusts and estates.
As a published writer with several rental properties spread over three states, doing my tax return each year must be something like stuffing an octopus into a pillow case. David pulls everything together without ever making me feel clueless. More than that, he's always accessible, and knowledgeable, to answer business questions in great detail from me or my bookkeeper.
