I hired mr John shook to assist with my disability and my accident injury case. Totally unprofessional, rude at times no empathy. Not only did he not fight for my disability he settled for ssi I have worked since i was 14. I didn’t kno the difference between SSI and SSDI, until after everything was said and done. Social security notified me I have enough work credits to qualify for SSDI. He would not continue to assist me cuz he already got paid. Terrible attorney.

Their firm should state that they are Personal Injury firm only .They are terrible with Disability cases. My fiancee was denied twice and they lost her appeal. There was a Hearing and it was a joke! They did not use any of her medical evidence that stated she was disabled but because she was finally forced to go back to work, she was denied.. Instead she represented herself with little to no help from their firm. She should have never wasted her 4 years of time thinking Shook and Stone would help her. If you want to lose your Social Security case, go to them!!!!

After having a hard time figuring out how to get my uncle approved for social security disability benefits which were deeply needed, Shook & Stone were to the rescue. These guys are a joke. they are all big business once they have a contract you only talk to unqualified case workers who aren't attorneys with you they dont follow up on phone calls. You never talk to the same people twice. Your case workers can't answer the simplest questions. very poor service don't use them
