The Most Common thing I hear when I walk into the home of a new client: I have never hired a decorator before. I don't know how this works. This is a way of saying: I am nervous about this. What can I expect? I get it, a strange person is walking into your sacred space who is going to fix everything!
These clients are from California. The moved here over a year ago and rented until they found their forever home. They wanted to embrace some of the Texas vibe. So we had fun creating a Design Plan for them to implement when their time and budget allowed. They had the inspiration of the pictures and the actual links to make the purchases.
Moving into a new Home and need furniture placement, art placement, window treatments or new paint colors?. 2. Then we go to your existing home and measure your furniture, area rugs, artwork, lamps, etc. to see what fits in your new home. An IMPORTANT STEP during the visit to your existing home: What is sentimental?
Every thing- you included is energy - just ask any scientist. Feng Shui is about the flow of energy in your home to give you a peaceful and tranquil environment. It's about balancing the energy of the items used to decorate your home. QUESTION FOR YOU: Do you see wind? No you do not- you may see leaves dancing as the wind blows by them, but You do NOT see it.
This is a great service for people who have their home with the main bones of decorating. This is a whole house walk-through to see what needs to be added to make your home feel cohesive and pulled-together. It will include the hours of 9-2 or 10-3 or whatever is convenient for you. Yes, 5 hours of professional decorating advice!.

I have used Diane’s services three separate times to help me with my living room, master bedroom and master bath. She is incredible!! She gave me detailed plans for each incorporating my wants and came up with amazing spaces that I just could not do on my own. The best thing is she sends you pictures and links to buy the items which makes it so easy. What she does is truly a gift and I will consult her anytime I need design advice!

I loved working with Diane to help us solve some design challenges in our new home. She was super responsive to my questions/ideas/feedback, and gave me ideas to make our house 'work' better that I hadn't considered before. I loved that we were equipped with everything we needed at the end of our appointment, and that we were able to buy our own pieces with the guide from Diane. Highly recommend working with Diane for any interior design needs!

Diane was so easy to work with. She arrived at our home full of questions. By the time she left several hours later, we had a workable plan to bring our modest home to a shining moment.
Her design choices are timeless and in tune with our style (that we didn’t know we had) and just as important, budget. The suggestions are readily available.
A couple days later, Diane called to follow up and provide a couple more thoughts. I could not have asked for a better experience. Her services are priceless as she is a dedicated professional in her field.

I am so thrilled with what Diane selected to bring my family room all together! She has amazing taste and easily understood the look I wanted. Diane really delivers. In a shockingly short time, Diane created a thoughtful, working, fun layout for the small house we're moving into. She did it using things we already own, carefully accommodating the physical and emotional needs of my 84 year-old father. Diane is the best.. Do not downsize without her!

Diane with Ready Set Redesign is amazing. In our initial consultation... she simply asked, “What word would you like to discribe the room?” I said Cozy. And that is want she transformed the room into. In fact, when people walk in the room, they use the exact word to describe it. It is amazing how she can move a few things around and great a space that you don’t want to leave. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a redesign with Diane. You won’t regret it!
