I cannot say enough amazing things about Joy. She is the definition of perfection. Not only did she listen to every concern I had, but she made me feel validated for having them. We spent at least 30-45 mins getting the shape perfect for my face and during the procedure she'd have me sit up and check to make sure I was feeling ok about it. I felt so safe and confident with her and will absolutely be coming to her from now on! If you're questioning going to her just set up a consultation and I garuntee she'll calm all your concerns.

Absolutely obsessed with my lip blush by Joy and it's only been a few hours !!!! I've always been self-conscious about my natural brown lip liner and after searching up permanent makeup artist I went to the artist with the most reviews and pictures and that lead me here ! Joy is an absolute professional ! Extremely kind and patient , and constantly checked in with me to make sure I wasn't in pain . Joy at Brow Cafe is a pleasure to work with. I saw her back in July for microblading over previous work. Not only did she suggest a newer, fresher looking shape, but also she was able to do removal of the previous work with saline removal. I am very pleased with the final "art" that she created. I am going back for a mere touch-up that is normal with all work. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with how they look.

After months of researching and wading through the many options on Yelp, I kept coming back to Joy's page. I was impressed with her work and great reviews. I finally decided to go with Joy, and I am so happy and know I made the right choice. This was my first microblading experience, and I didn't have a clear vision on what I wanted exactly. Amazing service by amazing artist! All my friends tell me that my eyebrows look the most natural and beautiful among those who have done micro blading. I am completely satisfied and highly recommend Joy.
She honestly expressed her opinion and worn me not to do my eye lash line because of the possibility of the ink not staying in place due to my blood vessels are too close to the eye lash line. I was so ready to do it, and would end up with ugly bruise like spots on my eyelids.

Joy is an artist. She doesn't use cookie cutter methods. She studied my face and took the time making sure I was happy with the shape before she started. She also listened carefully to what I wanted, made suggestions, but wasn't pushy. Simply put, she has great bedside manner. The hair strokes she creates are realistic and she made sure they matched how my eyebrow hair grows. No one-size-fits-all with her.
Sadly, covid lockdown started right before my second appointment

This was my first time doing my eyebrows and Joy made me feel completely at ease with the entire process and I couldn't be happier with the results! The Service: Joy is such a sweet lady. She took her time to explain and show me pictures of the different styles/shape (American, European & Asian). She would also give recommendation which is very helpful because finding a perfect brows to match my face is very important.
She even texted me the day after the procedure to see how I was doing. She always responds to my text promptly and answers all my questions/concern in detail. Excellent customer service!

I have been following Joy for about a year on IG. She was great with answering questions and even better at giving positive encouragement. My 2.5 year old microbladed brows were in dire need of repair. Both brows orange and obviously uneven. My goal was not ridiculous, I just wanted symmetry and color correction. Joy cautioned me about results but gave me enough to feel like I didn't have to walk with my head down. I'm so happy with the results. I am 12 days out from my COMBO brows. I have no regrets. I had my brows microbladed two years ago. I was never fully happy, nor satisfied with the results. I almost gave up until I was recommended by Joy. Joy made all the difference in the world. She actually studied my face, took my hair & skin color into account, and did my brows according to my face shape. All of this BEFORE she actually started drawing. Just had my touch up today and I am in love with my brows. Joy is super thorough and detail oriented. After having my eyebrows done at another place a year and a half ago I was with brows that were odd shaped and left over color.
The previous lady went too deep and it was painful. I was nervous to go have my brows done again knowing it would be a painful procedure. After finding Joy, I was in virtually no pain. She was patient and addressed my concerns. She did some color correction and was able to achieve the shape I wanted.

I found Joy via Yelp. Her price was great compared to other places I had seen, so I started checking out her photos and reviews. After seeing so much positive feedback and photos, I booked an appointment. Joy responded super fast and was really easy to communicate with to schedule.

7/7/17 Update ** I returned to get my eyeliner done today. Seriously zero pain! On a scale from 0-10 it's a zero with a tickle! and I don't have high pain tolerance. I am amazed! Joy is the nicest and so professional!!! Totally thrilled about this.
