The only part of my divorce that was more painful than my powerful , wealthy, punishing husband was my experience with Harvey Arnoff and his wife. They, (and the realtors he recommended), pretended to care about my situation. It was all a money making farce. I couldn’t have created an agreement more detrimental to myself if I tried. I was an emotional mess and completely, entirely trusted Harvey. I genuinely cared about and liked him. The divorce went on for years until every penny I could borrow plus my entire retirement was gone. Many of the meetings he called cost much but were casual conversations

He is a total waste of life!!! He walks in court with an empty folder. Has no clue about the case. Has his office staff do all his work. He prepared for trial in the hallway of the court house. He will adjourn and adjourn till he makes you settle after he drains your bank account. He pays the judges and law guardians off with cash and vacations. It will all come out stay away !!!!!

Harvey Arnoff, Esq. in my opinion is a very experienced lawyer given the number of years he's been practicing and good at what he does in practicing general law. He has clever strategies which he delivers in a no-nonsense way to opposing counsel and in my particular case, he did eventually acquire positive results for me as the Executrix of my parent's estate, although it took a year and a half to get there and approximately $30,000.
Having said that, I must also add that I am of the opinion that Probate law, specifically the Compulsory Accounting, is not his strong point - he assured

Harvey and Joseph have helped both me and my mother. Joseph helped me with the closing of my Condo. He was helpful throughout the process and even went above and beyond to get the sellers attorney to stop wasting my time. Without him it would have been a much more annoying ordeal.
Both Harvey and Joseph helped guide my mother through medical issues. Still ongoing, and still helpful.

Mr. Arnoff served as my divorce lawyer over a period of over 4 years. As you might imagine, any divorce lasting that long will be a source of misery. Mr. Arnoff did little to cushion or moderate that misery however, and added substantially to it with his astonishingly high fees - I paid him something approaching $100,000 to get a result that I could probably have achieved with no counsel at all.
But I hear that for some people, he does wonders. He just didn't for me.
