This shop is a feast for the eyes…so artfully arranged inside that I knew I could trust my old beloved boots with them. I was not disappointed! They are like new. I’m extremely happy with the work, and the quick turn around. I’ve heard it’s sometimes difficult to catch them open, but I called ahead and the process was very simple. Again, I’m thrilled with my boots!

Can’t say better things about Remy. I wear dress shoes everyday for work and on my first visit to The Cobbler I brought in a pair of my favorites and he was super honest with me, he’s like:
“I can fix these but it’ll cost almost as much as if you just went and bought a new pair. Let me give you a card to call Johnston Murphy see if they can find you a pair just like this and if they can’t bring these back and I’ll fix them.”
Super honest businessman, he’ll have my business forever now.

They did a great job replacing the velcro on my baretrap sandals a few years ago. Went back with some other repairs and they were closed during business hours. Left a message and they never called me back. Did they go out of business? September 2021.

Worked with Remy to get my favorite pair of leather boots fixed up. From the moment you walk in, you can tell that you will be in good hands. Would highly recommend.

Remy sewed my softball glove strap back together perfectly! So glad we found a place that could repair the glove. Every other place we talked to said they only do restitching on the mitt, but a lot of them recommended the Cobbler, so we decided to try him out and we were thrilled with the result. It's great to see people like him still doing leather work like he does. Excellent work and super friendly. 10/10 service

It's getting harder to find a shoe repair shop in GR, but thankfully I found Remy, owner of The Cobbler. I brought two pairs of shoes in for repair; he took care of one of them immediately, and repaired the other within days. He is a craftsman who obviously takes pride in his work, and his shop decor is amazing. I would highly recommend him for any shoe or leather repair. Note: His shop is located off Wealthy SE on Norwood Street, behind Wolfgang's Restaurant in Eastown. Use the entrance about halfway down the line of shops and walk down the stairs, The Cobbler shop will be on your right.

Really great. I came in with a pair of boots and he put a new heel in and made them look shiny and brand new. I had also brought another pair of shoes he told me weren't worth fixing so he's not looking to rip you off!

Recommend.

Oh my goodness, this guy is awesome! I brought in a pair of shoes which he promptly informed me were un-fixable, as the heel had broken away pretty solidly from the rest of the shoe "bed." He could have very easily told me he could fix and charged me whatever he wanted but instead he gave it to me straight and took the shoes as a charitable donation because, you guys, he tries to give back to those less fortunate among us!

He will be my next go-to without any hesitation when I need a pair fixed up OR I purchase new shoes to make them less likely to break down from the get-go!

After being promised my shoes 3 times, I returned and told them I was gonna pay half Price. The guy behind the counter goes off and takes my shoes in literally throws them out on to Wealthy street !!!!I would stay away from this place if I were you!

Great attention to detail. I trust Romie with my best shoes, and others must as well as his case is full of Zegna and Ferragamo.
