I had a water heater issue after a plumber worked on some pipes in my house. The plumber couldn’t diagnose the problem and told me to call a water heater repair company. I rarely post anything regarding any business dealing, however I feel compelled to post this review of Air-O-Smith. I contacted Louise on Sunday and got back to her on Monday regarding what I thought was a needed solar water heater tank. I was given a very reasonable quote to complete the job. On Friday, Martin, who is owner of Air-O-Smith, showed up ready to replace my solar water heater. After inspecting it, he said that the water heater was still okay and I should have at least two more years use. He then fixed the pump, replaced a couple leaking valves and saved me well over $1000. Walter and his son came out on Wednesday, 11/11/20 to replace my old water heater. They are friendly, efficient, and professional. They are both knowledgeable in what they do and are pleasant to converse with. I highly recommend Air-O-Smith if you have to replace your hot water heater tank. However, I think the most enjoyable part of this whole transaction was scheduling the work with his wife. She is a hoot! I very much enjoyed speaking with her and scheduling my appointment. I set up an appointment to have our solar water heater checked for leakage. It was a minor fix but im not really handy with house work and my wife dont like me touching things coz she's afraid of me making the problem worse. I called and set up an appointment with Loise. Martin gave me a call back few mins later and gave me a tip on how to fix it as it sounded like a minor problem. He said he doesn't like to charge me $150 for a work that can be easily troubleshoot. Martin and his son came to replace our water heater. They did some pressure tests and realized the water heater was still good. So instead of replacing it for $1600, he replaced the thermostat and adjusted the upper limit temperature circuit. He saved us a ton of money and was totally honest and trustworthy. Great Company! Called on a Saturday to replace my old water hater. It was never replaced since 94 from the original owners. No answer on the first called but left a message. Got a call back within about 15 mins. Talked to Louis she got my Info and gave me a quote right over the phone. I thought it was fair price. She offered to make an appointment the upcoming Monday which was great!

I normally do not post reviews, but I had to with Air-O-Smith. Our 14 yo water heater sparked last night and the entire house smelled like smoke. We reached out to Air O the next morning and Martin answered my phone at 8am. At 9:30am he was at my house working on the water heater. And at 10:30am, he was done! From the beginning to the end, Martin was super professional, organized, and friendly. I would recommend this company to anyone who is in need of a water heater expert.

Air O Smith was referred to me by a neighbor. After calling and talking to his wife Louise, we set a date for installation of a new solar water heater.
Martin showed up on time and was so friendly, professional and efficient. There were a few snags during the install due to sub par piping from the previous install. Martin handled it in stride.
Bottom line, look no further if you need a water heater installed. They are the best!

I had my 14 year old 120 gal solar water heater replaced and Martin exhibited decades of knowledge acquired on the job. He found that my previous installation was not done correctly and that I had been living with an improperly functioning water heater for the many past years since the original company did not connect a sensor nor did they set the proper parameters on my controller. Our solar water heater was not functioning and we have had 2 other plumbers look at it and didn't do the job right. These plumbers were costly. My husband found air-o-smith and got an appmnt right away on a saturday. He was honest and told us exactly what was wrong and fixed it. That's integrity and love. After contacting 2 contractors that weren't responsive we called Air-O-Smith to repair our solar hot water heater. Martin came out the following morning to repair what we thought would be a solar heater controller turned out to be just loose writing (from a previous contractor that provided maintenance) and made the repair in minutes at a very reasonable cost. He didn't try to push us to do a tank flush as other contractors have strongly recommended as necessary maintenance. Martin was very friendly, helpful and professional, we will call Air-O-Smith for future maintenance and repair

I called them because my water heater broke and I was very satisfied with the service. Louise was very pleasant on the phone and she even answered the phone after business hours knowing that I was considering calling back. Thankfully, they had a cancellation the next day so I got an appointment rather quickly.
Martin came down the next day and installed a new water heater pretty quickly. He was friendly and you can tell he knows his stuff.

I called Air-O-Smith because my water heater was leaking. Martin was smart because he left his company's sticker along with the date of the last heater installation he made in 2004 so I knew that I did business with him the last time. Without the sticker I wouldn't have remembered.
Martin came out the same day to inspect my heater and determined that I needed a new heater. The very next day he and his son, Chris, came and installed the new heater. I also have a heat pump which Martin had installed also in 2004. He inspected it and determine that it was still functioning.

After several unresponsive calls to other businesses, I called Air-O-Smith. Louise was very helpful from the beginning. Being that it was a Friday, I didn't have much hope for any hot water until Monday. I was happily surprised when Louise said her techs could come it tomorrow. The necessary information was exchanged about where our heater was located, size, serial and model number. Our heater was 20 years old .

During the initial call, I asked how much it would cost to replace my water heater and explained to them that I wasn’t sure if it needed to be replaced. I wanted to see how much it was going to cost me in a “worst case scenario.”
The lady asked me how old my water heater was and I said it was at least 12 years old and she said, “Well, it probably needs to be replaced.” (Or words to that effect) She then quoted me a price

17 years ago I had to replace my Water Heater and Martin from Air-O-Smith did the job. Fast forward to a month ago, when I decided I should replace my water heater, since I live in a Condo and am often out of town. My water heater still worked fine. A leaking water heater could cause damage not only to my unit, but the one below me. I found my receipt from 17 years ago and called Air-O-Smith, remembering what a great job they did.
