Life is rarely easy. Sometimes, even the strongest among us need a little help to work through life's challenges. We all have our own battles to fight and hurdles to overcome, and there's nothing wrong with getting a bit of help. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, substance use, workplace stress, or a troubled relationship, quality counseling can provide much-needed support.

By visiting this website, you've taken the first step toward healing, empowerment, and growth. Please explore this site to learn more about who I am and who I help. You can also learn how to connect with me from the privacy and convenience of your home or office with my online therapy option. I fell in love with counseling as a profession during my work at a juvenile prison.

Do you often feel afraid, anxious, or panicked? You may be wondering how to deal with relationship anxiety or how to cope with workplace stress. A new pregnancy, divorce, family illness, or another major life change may also be causing problems. Is your anxiety causing concentration problems, bad digestion, sweating, shaking, chest pains, or other symptoms?
No matter how hard you work, do you feel like it's never enough? Maybe you can't shake the feeling that you're underqualified, even if you've received positive feedback. If your self-esteem is very low, you may sometimes feel like an imposter. To avoid being found out, you may be working long hours and striving for perfection.
If you're single, comparing yourself to other people who are happily married with kids may be a source of frustration. If you're in a relationship, frequent fights or other problems may make you feel like something's missing. Are you tired of trying to keep your relationship afloat? Your partner's neglect or disregard of your needs may make you question their devotion.
As a commercial driver's license (CDL) holder, did you fail a random, pre-employment, or post-accident drug test? Perhaps you're a truck, train, or taxi driver who tested positive for alcohol, marijuana, or another substance. Did you violate Department of Transportation (DOT) drug policy while working as a pilot, flight attendant, pipeline construction worker, or emergency response personnel?

The mark of an exceptional therapist is one that you can feel comfortable sharing your most intimate and personal thoughts with without judgment. One that helps to steer you in the right direction when necessary and can be a listening ear to the things that matter to you and your life. Mia is a consummate professional and I am extremely grateful to have found her when I did. If I could share one bit of advice it would be to STOP reading this review and go book your appointment! Now!!
