Ning's diverse career path is what makes him so unique and versatile. Right after UCLA, he started out as an electrical engineer, became an IT Director, dove into sales and marketing, and finally ended up as a Microsoft technical trainer and corporate event planner. After leaving the corporate rat race to pursue his dream of photography, he started Ning Wong Studios, a Southern California based photography and cinematography studio.
Weddings are his passion and business. What he enjoys most is the experience of photographing and filming people in all aspects of life. Ning takes great pride in knowing he is regarded as a true people person. His natural ability to connect with others combined with his innate friendliness always brings an air of positive energy, kindness and empathy to every job he does.

Just met with Ning at his studio to talk about everything he does. First of all, great guy! I'd invite him to my wedding even if he wasn't shooting a video. Secondly, he does great work. Everyone who he works with has rave reviews and the sample work he has around his studio is beautiful! Can't wait to get working with him for all of my videography, and photography needs.

Ning Wong is the SWEETEST person EVER!!! Long story short...my daughter was shot during the Vegas Massacre, where her now husband saved her life, and when Ning heard their story through the photographer we had hired, he offered to be their videographer for free as a gift. Not only is his heart gold, but his talent is AMAZING!!! He and his crew were professional and so much fun!!! I only have one child and I knew photos were a must, but once I saw his work and what he captured, it is a must to have him as a videographer!!! Ning and his crew were fabulous throughout the entire wedding plan and wedding day. He was readily available and attentive to our specific needs and understood our priorities for the day. Ning has been taking our family photos for the past couple of years and we are always in love with his work. He is able to capture our daughters' personalities perfectly (which is hard to do with a 1.5 year old who has no concept of standing still). It can be awkward taking pictures (for me at least), but he always makes the session fun, relaxing, and truly enjoyable. Thanks Ning!

You can probably see Ning's technical experience just by looking at his photos. I don't think spending time in this review telling you how amazingly talented he is will add as much as telling you about the amazing experience he creates in front of his lens. There's no better word than relaxed. Maybe there is. Natural. I felt natural. I felt authentic. I felt like me. I was playing. I wasn't awkward me. And I hate being in front of a camera. Ning and his team are simply the best! When my sister got married she wasn't even sure she wanted a photographer. Ning's friendly nature and passion for his work won her over, and they have beautiful pictures to look back on thanks to him and his team. Appreciate the diligent planning Ning and his team put in 'before' our anniversary celebrations. We had used his services before during winter holidays for family photography but watching his team perform for our event in time sensitive environment was a new experience. Not one precious moment was missed. We didn't know such moments existed until we saw the pictures. Love the video even more.

Great photographer for really so many of your needs. His wedding photography is amazing, but for me his family portraits are the service we've worked with him for. He helped capture the great memories and personality of my father prior to his passing from cancer. The awesome photos he took are the last images we have to remember him and they couldn't be a better tribute to his memory.
