Benoit Greenhouses has been serving the horticultural industry since 1975 but the greenhouses on Splear Road have a much longer history. Originally constructed in 1884 by Charles Splear, the greenhouses have been producing quality plants ever since. The business stayed in the Splear family until the 1960's when it was purchased by Charles Jans.
In 1975, we purchased the business in partnership with Mark and Brenda Benoit. Chris & I were the sole owners from 1989-2019, when our son Luke & his wife Mandy purchased the business. While there have been changes and additions to the greenhouses over the years, our commitment to quality and service has remained constant.

We have only been coming to Benoits for 3 years as of this spring. But,with that being said , I wish I had started coming sooner. I have not been disappointed with anything,from vegetable plants to flowers. And the selection is fantastic for a smaller type nursery. Thank you for being here for us !!

This place is the best place to take the kids. There was so much to do. Corn maze, tractors to sit on, games to play, hay to jump on, swings, and toes to play on. Just so much and not to mention the array of pumpkins to buy. Ask of which look amazing. I don't think I saw one bad one in the bunch. All of this and these wonderful ppl offer this for free.

Benoit's Greenhouse is my new, go to place for every season. It started during the spring of 2020, because they offered pre-orders and curbside pickup, in a time of great uncertainty (Covid). They have beautifully healthy plants and are so kind and helpful - a family run business. I just picked up my fall baskets and mum's - gorgeous!
