TL;DR. After 37 years of hearing aids and audiologist I highly recommend MaryRose to anyone.
A little about myself. I am 42 and have been hard of hearing all my life. Both inner ears are missing the stapes bone. Resulting in near 50% hearing loss. As a result I need good hearing aids to hear properly.
As a child my parents took me to MSU audiology. As a young man I went to other places which were all nice. It was roughly a little over 10 years ago that I needed the assistance of MRS "Michigan Rehabilitation Services“ which suggested MaryRose as a second quote.

I have had the pleasure of hearing so much better as a result of the wonderful advice and counseling from MaryRose. It's always over the top service and only the finest quality hearing aids that deliver excellent tone and clarity. Most men wait too long for hearing aids which cheat us from hearing important conversations, lines in movies, and especially others who talk in a lower tone of voice. I learned of this practice through the American Tinnitus Association magazine. MaryRose understands tinnitus better than any medical professional I have ever dealt with. There is no "cure" for tinnitus, but instead of trying to get me to "relax and learn to live with it," MaryRose carefully evaluated my hearing and fitted me with specialized hearing aids that have actually helped me hear better while experiencing less of the overwhelming ring I have experienced with my tinnitus.

I have been a patient of Mary Rose for the past seven years. Previously I had been to two other audiologists. I was not pleased with either one, because they were not thorough in their testing, and seemed more interested in selling hearing aides than service. Mary Rose is very thorough and knowledgeable . She is very patient and takes time to remedy any problem I might have. I am very pleased to have her as my audiologist. Her office staff is courteous and makes me feel comfortable. I hope to be her patient for many years. I would recommend her to anyone with hearing problems.

MaryRose Hecksel is one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She genuinely cares about your hearing - its not about selling you aids. She helped my elderly mother when she was alive to have the best hearing possible and has now changed my life with my new hearing aids. At 52 I didn't realize that I had such significant hearing loss. I highly recommend her.
