Thought this place was a winner based on the reviews but I was left unimpressed. I ordered the Louisiana steam pot. The shrimp were good but the crawfish were not edible. I know they weren't fresh and maybe not even alive. They were tough, rubbery, and bad tasting. The kicker is when I told them and showed them they only offered me a small discount for half of my meal being inedible. I thought that was unacceptable but didn't make a big deal about it. Next time I'm in Tampa I will steer clear of this place.

Outstanding little family owned spot. Very good portions and outstanding food. The shrimp empanadas are really good and hot. The lobster pot boy was super good. The shaved and fried plantains are so good. Never had them that way before. The fried cheese cubes were very tasty. Colombia was booked and I am glad it was. I highly recommend Shrimp and Co.

Saturday night in Ybor City and the streets are hopping. Found this gem across the street from Columbia. Not crowded for Saturday made us question. Went inside, instantly served. Great service from Savannah. Food was fresh, great tasting, not run of the mill. Must give this place a try. We will be back.

The food is amazing! Pelin and Bugra were the only wait staff because 3 servers are out sick and they were totally on point and just as nice as can be. They checked on us and were attention in spite of how busy the restaurant was. This family duo were amazing, taking orders, clearing tables, keeping the floors clean, bringing out the food. Nephew and I went to three restaurants before coming here and we walked out of them all. I'm so glad the other places were super slow, leading us here. Peline and Bugra are the owners and they have a top notch restaurant you should patronize. Catty

I had driven by this place going to many different restaurants in Ybor. Today we decided to give it a try. Nice décor and very clean. Good selections on the menu with daily specials on the board. My coworker and I ordered the Shrimp Platters and WOW it was very good. The waitress was pleasant and very attentive to our drinks. Food was out quickly! Portion size was good also.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, it is a hidden gem.

We went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and had a surprisingly good meal. I love that they offer parking in the lot right next to the restaurant, which is so convenient for Ybor. We arrived shortly after noon, when they opened, and by the time we left at 1:00 pm, the restaurant was packed.
We started with the appetizer of fried green tomatoes. They took a while to arrive, but came out piping hot, and I loved the dipping sauce they came with. This was followed minutes later with our lunch entrees.

Fantastic! My boyfriend and I got the calamari to start and boy do you get a lot!! It's not chewy or taste like it's weirdly frozen or anything, and the sauce that comes with it is delish!
I ordered the shrimp po boy for dinner and it was so good! I'm not a big seafood gal and this was a great option.
My boyfriend got the grouper basket and he loved it too.
You get the option of fries or red potatoes for the side. The fries are standard nothing special, but the garlic parm red potatoes were pretty good. Would come back!

Food was AMAZING. We got a crab cheese dip that was one of the best we've had. Their fried shrimp basket was delicious as well. The shrimp was lightly breaded, cooked to perfection, and the shrimp were so fresh tasting. Fries were perfectly cooked as well. It's a family owned restaurant not a chain which we love these type of places especially when we travel. Service was great too. Highly recommend this place.

Really good food. Tasted great and served while it was still got. We got boiled shrimp, fried shrimp and fried grouper and all were great. There was only one person managing the entire floor so we waited a while to be served. We ordered boiled potatoes and then he came back and told us they were out. When you only have 3 sides, it doesn't make sense to be out of one. Those things mean I can't give it 5 stars, but I would say 4.5 if I could.

First of all it's a Friday afternoon (1pm) in Ybor (busy), second Faith, (my waitress) was the one and only wait staff at work, like yes she was absolutely alone. She single handedly took care of everyone of the tables with a smile on her face, a pep in her step and never once did I see her catch an attitude or seem frustrated . She had everyone's order correct and was attentive despite being all alone. In my 40+ years I've never had a waitress that professional and on point.

I had high hopes coming here but was sadly disappointed with the end result. I understand during this time with covid, restaurants are struggling but the food was sub par by all means.
The service was great and the servers were very friendly but i came to have a nice meal. I ordered the mia pasta, it had a nice presentation when it came out but my first bite of the pasta was nasty it tasted like they cooked the noodles then immediately after poured white mac and cheese powder on the noodle and mixed it together. My pasta was paired with chicken and shrimp, the chicken tasted like it was soaked

You know, I have been having a hard time finding decent food in Tampa, but this place was really good. I had the fried shrimp basket, would definitely order again. My mom ordered the florida steam pot. I didn't really like it because the sauce tasted like Louisiana, but my mom absolutely loved it and slurped everything right up.
To top it all off, they have the kindest servers. I can't wait to go back.
