Has employees bid. set minimum online bids hundreds higher then in person and then jacked up the buyer premium to 25%. Come on. talk about a scam. also when there is a homedepot auction 90% of the items are defective the color stickers tell you how bad they are. Red means even the manufacturer wont take it back for parts...

South Jersey Auction is a hidden treasure located in Swedesboro, NJ. I’ve attended a number of their auctions in the past several years and every time I go, it keeps getting better and better. The quality of furniture that you will find at the auction is top notch ranging from Baker Naps & Tubs, Hendrendon, John Widdickomb, Restoration Hardware plus clothing, jewelry, coins, silverware, fine china, etc are sold as well. What makes it also a very pleasant experience is the owners (Rob & wife Lisa) and staff are all so helpful, genuine/sincere, friendly people. This place is a must visit; a nice

I must say that my family and I had an excellent experience with this auction house. They were in the process of fixing up their house and we needed to quickly move the items out in one trip. South Jersey Auction helped plan for a date weeks in advance, and they did so in a very professional manner. Everything about the process for the auction was organized, swift and attentive. They all helped out as very best as they could. From the auctioneer selling, the receptionists that keep us well-informed, to the hard-working crewmen who quickly and carefully sorted out the items for the sale. I am no

About a year ago I wrote negative review as a seller, I felt that my items did not get representation they deserve, as a result they sold for allot less than they should. Before I wrote the review I spoke with management and Rob asked me what they can do to smooth things our, I asked for a discount on buyers fee on our next purchase. He decided that I am extorting money out of him and told me straight out no and that they have plenty of other customers besides me. We did not shop this auction for a while, but today we thought that time had passed, I can't keep a grudge forever, so we drove down

I've been buying and selling a variety of items for more than 40 years. Most of my selling has been through various auction houses in NJ and PA. When it came time for me to downsize, I had to select an auction house to liquidate my personal property consisting of antique and mid century furniture, art, oriental rugs, clocks, china, etc., etc. I was very familiar with the three auction houses most convenient to my property and decided to go with South Jersey . First, they were very accommodating and reasonable in their fee for moving property from my home to the auction; their auction was clean

I places some pretty expensive items, which I actually purchased at the same auction, to be sold. Non of my items were ever advertised with the estimated cost on their website or anywhere else and were sold for close to nothing. It actually happened twice. I complained twice, got a callback from the owner saying that items were out of style and that's why they sold so low, not considering the fact that I got it at their auction just a month prior for literally 10 times more money and there were plenty of bidders. All thought he did ask, what can they do, call me we'll talk. So when we did talk

I called weeks ago to place roughly $100,000 worth of goods. The person answered was nice and said they might not want the goods as they do antique furniture. I said, well I also have some of that, but I am mainly interested in moving a large load of new clothing from a closed store (a tractor trailer load). I was promised a call back and well it simple never happened. I also own a business and it just wasted my time and does not sit well with me to not follow through. We do a LOT of surplus and I was looking for an auction house to do regular business with and if you guys cannot do what you say

I went to South Jersey Auction to purchase things for my sisters apartment for college. I got great deals and people were helpful. I got enough things that when everything got to Arkansas at the University we were even able to sell some things and make a profit to cover the gas expenses. My parents even furnished our entire home from this place after our house burned down. We were all very happy and satisfied. Things at the auction move fast so I had to learn to speak up to ask questions if I wasn't sure of something. Once I got over that it was actually a lot of fun!!! The workers and owners never

South Jersey Auctions was my first auction, now I'm hooked. The people @ SJ auction are the best. I have been to several of their auctions, and got alot of really great deals. My house was hit hard by super storm Sandy. My wife and I went to the auction, and replaced all my damaged furniture with all antiques from SJ Auctions. The staff at SJ Auctions were great, the deals were fantastic, and when I wasn't able to attend the auction, they helped set me up with phone bidding. I can't say enough about them. I visit there website before every auction, to see what interesting items are being offered
