Services
When we opened the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery back in 2011, our mission was to help small local farmers succeed by getting more of their foods into the hands of consumers. We have been working towards this mission through education, showcasing local foods in our grocery and butchery, and through making great food with simple, local ingredients through our bakery, cafe, and pizza outlets.
Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery is a place that values people, working family farms, sustainable agriculture, community goodness, family, hard work, and creativity. Since 2011 we have sourced from over 300 small family farmers and artisan food makers, and we need a strong and passionate team to help us achieve our mission through work in the Cafe, Bakery, Grocery, and Food Hub.
Are you looking for a place to sell your locally produced, hand-made and/or all natural products? If so, Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery would love to partner with you! We have a series of requirements and regulations for a vendors.
We uphold strict guidelines in order to stay true to our mission, 'To buy, sell and cook with fresh, local food to support a sustainable food system and provide a community space where people come together to celebrate meals.'.

Swamp Produce Boxes are filled with local, seasonal, and often organic fruits and vegetables harvested by our farmers at the peak of freshness! When there is not enough locally-grown produce available to fill a produce box, we substitute with regional and organic items. Add any other Grocery or Cafe items to your cart and choose your pickup or delivery day and time.
Need a place to host your baby shower, birthday party, product party, or corporate meeting? Our new event space "The Shed" is now open for bookings! Gonna need food to fuel said event? We've got a full catering menu too! This depends on the nature of your event, but we can typically seat 40 to 50 for most gatherings in our private event space.

We need more stars. I adore this place! Not only for the grocery supporting local farms and businesses but the cafe is fresh and delicious and the way the business supports and includes the community is admirable. This is the type of place every city needs, the grocery, cafe, trail and community make this place PURE GOLD.

The Swamp Rabbit is an amazing place with so much to offer! The food and drinks from the cafe are always very delicious and satisfying.
The grocery store has a lot of great local products with a vast variety to choose from. If you have never visited before I highly recommend, its a whole experience! Its very convenient for those enjoying the Swamp Rabbit trail as well. Nice place for a pit stop after a good bike or run.

Wonderful establishment. Excellent assortment of prepared food, body care, beer/wine, fresh (almost all locally produce and meats - all of which is high quality. The seating area out back is beautiful, and their cafe food (sandwiches, soups, pastries, salads etc) is phenomenal. They tend to run out of a few particular things, and that's only because it's SO good (looking at you lentil soup).

Very cute place for an Autumn trip. Way too many people on Saturdays, and prices are high, as you'd expect for a stop like this. But lots of fun finds here, be sure you take your time and really look around the grocery store. We gathered up some items for a picnic at a nearby park, I highly recommend the pesto pasta! And the honey basil soda. They also had persimmons, muscadine grapes, and prickly pear fruits. The scones are good - be sure to get one when you go!

Such a cool place!! The breakfast egg, cheese and sausage croissant was delicious. Super buttery and flaky. I got a pepperoni roll-up for lunch that was perfectly proportioned pepperoni to bread and the bread was so soft.
Their bread is so good.
This place is right on the trail so I took a walk to let the food digest. Can't wait to go back.

It was a neat place that feels very green.
I got a "Breakfast Pogacha" which is like a breakfast burrito from Turkey, shaped like a Chinese Pork Bun (Bao). It was really good, but I wish they had non-breakfast versions of it.
It's also connected to a cute little grocery store which sells all sorts of natural foods, from ugly tomatoes, to local honey.
We'll be happy to return another day.

If you visit Greenville or live here and haven’t been to the Swamp Rabbit Cafe ask yourself why?? This is a sweet little gem in Greenville that can be great place to visit no matter what age! I absolutely love the variety of fresh fruits and veggies they have to offer, talk about fresh off the farm! And they have amazing pastries to offer here, my favorite cookie here is the vegan peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. The stecca bread is a must try! We tried their vegan garlic Brie and it is delicious!! From baby products to household cleaners and even treats for your pet, there is literally something
