After months of research, practice, training + lots of trial and error, I finally perfected my craft. Shortly after, I moved from my hometown of Los Angeles to Houston & immediately decided to open a spray tanning studio. As a fan of organic beauty products, I knew I wanted to offer the best, safest, and most natural looking spray tan available.
You're just 30 mins away from a whiter smile. Our affordable, pain free, LED teeth whitening process removes years of stains with just one session. After your session, avoid foods & drinks that may stain for 24 hours. Our introductory special includes a free take home whitening pen to maintain that new smile.
The typical "sleep-on-it" option clients have been using for years. Great for late evening appointments - you can go home after your appointment, go to bed and the results will set while you sleep! Please wait at least 10-12 hours for your tan to set before showering. Results will fully develop in 24 hours.
We always suggest tanning 1-3 days prior to your event whenever possible. Tans take a full 24-36 hours to fully develop, even with the rapid formula. Tanning the day of your event is possible, but not recommended especially in the Texas heat. Shower 4 or more hours before your tan using a sulfate free liquid body wash.

Lauren was awesome at explaining and guiding me through the process for my first tan! And it was for my wedding! I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. Lauren took her time, she was patient and very relatable. We talked our whole appointment and i left in a better mood than when I came in. I highly recommend Lauren and encourage you to request her for your next appointment. I mean just look at the results, different lighting but never orange and gave me the perfect sun-kissed look!

I was very impressed with the process and results of my spray tan. The monthly fees seem very reasonable. I have done other automated spray tans and felt I had better results with this customized one.
I was recommend by a friend. Only suggestion is to offer a loyalty program or something when you refer friends. Great way to build the business and keep us coming back.

Best place around for tanning! My daughter wanted a spray tan for Homecoming but had limited time to do it. She had an appointment a few hours before her cheer practice, but we were concerned that her tan was going to get messed up if she did it then. Lauren offered to stay open a little later that night so we could come back after her practice (which would be around 10pm) and get her tan. She was so helpful and did an amazing job! Really appreciate the great service!

Stopped in here for a spray tan as I passed through town and pretty disappointed with my tan. The woman who did my spray was very kind but did not do a neat or nice job. The bottom half of my calves is completely lighter than the rest of my body and also parts on my face did not get fully covered either. I have had spray tans professionally done several times and noticed the technique she used was just messy and all over the place and nothing like how it's done when it's done in the right motions. Wish I spent my $50 elsewhere.

Wanted to really love this place as I did my first tan with Samantha for my engagement session. Per the reviews, I went ahead and booked my bridal tan with Ashley (over a week prior to), mostly because she seemed to have the most reviews from brides. I showed up for my appointment and was told Ashley was under the weather and if I was okay with someone else and I agreed and said I was fine as long as they assured me it'd be good since it was for my wedding day! Absolutely obsessed with my spray tan!! I did a trial for my wedding in 2 weeks and got the bridal blend. Ashley was so warm and welcoming. She's able to gauge what would look best based on your skin tone so you're getting a custom blend, not a one-fits-all. They spray it on themselves, not by machine. Buttercup Tans is my favorite place to get a spray tan! They do an amazing job every time! I have gone there for almost 3 years for various events. They did my spray tan for my 3/7/20 wedding day and it was absolute perfection. Any bride hesitant to get a spray tan for their big day should come here! They do an incredible job every time. I normally do a dark tan but decided on a medium-dark tan for my wedding day and it looked great.

Really really love this place! The decor is so cute and modern chic. It feels like Beverly Hills inside Cypress my tans have been done by the Owner, Ashley. Sometimes I wait a few minutes in the lobby before my appointment- at every kind of service (nails, hair, doctor,etc) I have to wait for providers
As for my tans- I am pretty pale but her formula for her tan solution always makes me a pretty bronzed tan! Never orange. I've made the mistake of putting my hand on the black fan board I stand in front of my bad.

This place was amazing and super cute! The ladies were very sweet made me feel comfortable during my spray tan I think I got the deep dark which I think was the darkest one but I wish I could've gone darker but all in all I would defiantly go back, I went to get a spray tan for an event but I would defiantly go to get more just for a "day to day" tan

I have been getting spray tans for several years now. I recently moved, making it difficult to go into town to see my regular girl. I found Ashley online and made a last minute appointment. I chose her because she had organic, non-toxic spray. I felt very comfortable with her and her new place is so cute. But the Tan...was AMAZING! I didn't know what to expect and I was very impressed. Ashley makes you feel totally comfortable and is super professional but still very nice.
The studio is easy to find and very nice inside.
The products that are used are top notch and don't smell weird, or leave any streaks or orange colour! I have used other tans which are streaky or orange and I will never use them again thanks to the custom colors that are offered.
I would definitely recommend Buttercup tans as the service and quality cannot be beat.

I can't say enough good things about Ashley. I'm extremely particular and have had terrible experiences with spray tan booths. Ashley's application is nothing short of perfection! She does a great job every single time. I love her spray tans so much that I drive a half an hour each way to get there... totally worth it. If you're thinking about going to Buttercup, do it. You don't be disappointed!

I have gotten 4 spray tans from Buttercup and I have had good experiences with them each spray. The owner is so sweet and takes her time to make sure that you are content with your tan while at the salon and after. As a senior in high school many of my friends had gone to buttercup for prom and a few of them had complications with the spray tan and the owner was eager to help out and fix their concerns! I'm not a huge spray tan fan however if I was to get one I would return to Buttercup! Great service however I wish it was a little less expensive with spray and tip (possible student discount
