After working for others for 18 years, Ralph Richman decided to open his own well drilling business in Milford, Michigan in 2002. He soon relocated to Rose Township, Michigan near Holly, Michigan after expanding and needing more space. Our well pump broke at 9:30pm on a Friday night. Ralph answered my call despite the hour, and came out at 8:30am the following morning to fix my well. The pump needed to be replaced. He completed the diagnosis and replacement in just under 4 hours, including putting a better cap on my well to deter damage. The price was fair and he was kind, patient and informative with my many questions about our tank setup etc. Richmond Well Drilling is a great service! Highly recommend! :)

Just had these guys come out to take a look at my well pump and pressure switch points. Ralph Richman was able to diagnose the issue in twenty minutes. He went back to his place to grab some more parts, came back and had our water back running in less than an hour. Called him at 8 am on SUNDAY and he was done with the project by 10:30! Excellent job! 200$ fix and we are up and running water again.

No stars. Asked Ray to come check my pump. He didn't explain anything he was going to do or the cost associated. Long story short, he disassembled my entire pump system, charged me $400, and said to abandon the well. He left everything disconnected and in worse shape than it was, and completely tore up my yard. I now have a large pool of water sitting at the corner of my house after it rains, and have to have a professional excavating company come in to fix the grade. In the end, it cost me $2,000 for nothing.

What a GREAT guy!! Ray come to our house 2 hours after I called him (he fit us in b/c we didn't have any water)! Not only did he fix our problem, he showed us some ways we could be more efficient with our system.
He was VERY reasonably priced and incredibly nice. We will only use Ray's Well Drilling in the future and have already recommended him to our friends and family.

Several years ago the water pressure from our well fell to an unacceptable rate. I called Ray and he told me he could come out and check it, or he could tell me what to check first. If the fix that he gave me over the phone worked, then all he asked was that I call him if we ever ran into a problem again. I was able to fix the water pressure problem with the advise he gave.
Three years ago I did call him when we needed a new well for our barn. He came, did the job, told me how to care for the holding tank so it wouldn't freeze during the winter. The bill came to a few hundred dollars less
