With Laser Cutting being the best option and the most cost effective alternative to Costly Water Jet Cutting and inaccurate Plasma Cutting, Bulling Metal Works specializing in 2 Dimensional Laser Cutting. With the ability to process Stainless Steel up to 3/8", Mild Steel up to 34", and Aluminum up to 14", with an emphasis on perfectly cut burr free parts, with the Highest yield possible.
Combining the best of both worlds in sheet metal processing, the Punch/Laser Combination machine takes advantage of the speed of Punching with the flexibility of Laser Cutting. In addition, the Punch/Laser Combination machine allows for Bending and Forming of special features such as Extruded Shapes, Embossed Features, Lances, Louvers, Ribbing, and Countersinking.
Bulling Metal Works utilizes the latest in CNC Bending and Forming equipment to fabricate components per customer exacting requirements. With 2 CNC controlled Press Brakes and the ability to Form parts up to 144 inches long, there are few Forming jobs Bulling Metal Works cannot handle.

Bulling Metal Works offers CNC Machining which allows us to manufacture components that required post Laser Cutting which include Tapping, Slotting, Countersinking, and Counterboring, with a focus on thinking outside of the box and utilizing our Laser and Forming capabilities where applicable, and Machining only where the application or tolerance is required.

I needed a small fabrication job done with short notice. Well, no notice really as I walked in with a 10' long piece of metal I needed cut and welded into a T. Why is a story for another time, as this is about my experience with Bulling.
They were immediately responsive and treated me like I was their most important customer, although I'm likely one of the smallest they'll have all year. I was given a quote and since I thought it was fair I went ahead.

Bulling Metal works did a great job for me.
I had a very complex steel gate that I was making that had dozens of cuts of various shapes and sizes. Walter Bulling helped me select the steel and he cut the gate perfectly. It was an ornamental gate that needed to be 100% perfect and it was. His price was more than fair.
I called three metal shops in the Bay Area. Walter was the first to respond and gave me the most confidence. He is very easy to deal with, fast to respond (and get the work done). He gave me a tour of his shop and the machines that do the work and it is very impressive.

We have been a customer of Bulling Metal Works for going on a decade and I’m recently reminded of what an asset they are for our work. Walter did a great job on my custom vent chimney. The chimney kit that came with the cooktop ventilation hood did not work, as it was not tall enough, and not angled in the correct orientation for a vaulted ceiling. Also, telescoping chimneys don't look that great, if you can avoid them. I am really glad I found Bulling Metal Works. Walter was able to take my specifications and quickly manufacture a beautiful custom chimney, at a reasonable price. He is easy to work with, and I would definitely use his shop again.

When we had a last minute mechanical failure on a piece of our equipment and other machine shops had 3 week lead times, Walter was able to fabricate a difficult stainless steel design in under a week. I had some 11 gauge (0.120”) mild steel laser cut for a personal project. Walter was quick to answer my emails and his quote was competitive among the 6 other places I reached out to. The laser cut edge quality of my parts was amazing. Which came as no surprise after I discovered my job was cut on a million-dollar machine! It’s a cnc machine that does both metal punching and metal laser cutting. I snapped a photo with Walter in it for scale.
