Clean, comfy, with great friendly service. Quiet home-away-from-home within walking distance of downtown Camden. You can grab a light breakfast downstairs or head to the cafe in town. We enjoyed sitting on the chairs outside our 2nd floor room in the fresh air and sunshine. And best of all....priced reasonably in a competitive market!

Just ok for the price. First it’s right off a main road so there’s road noise but not bad. Second, we had a cute hotel room but we had a bad impression upon walking into the room because the carpet was old, matted and just looked awful. It carried a bit of an musty oder. The owners provided charcoal bags so it was nice they tried to help but best help is to put in the newer, fake wood flooring. The rooms are clean and have a personal touch. Towels are soft enough. Bed could have felt better. It was awesome that there was a refrigerator in the room although we didn’t use it.

It is what you would expect from a place like this. The rooms are dated but cleanish and serve the purpose for a night or two. The people who run it seem like they accidentally fell into the hospitality business because after attempting to speak pleasantly with them they wanted no part of any conversation.

I absolutely loved this place! I felt very much at home here. It’s located in a very quiet and cozy spot right in town. The rooms could not have been any cleaner (very important to me). And everyone I encountered was extremely friendly! Also the breakfast baked goods were incredible. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect place to spend the night in Camden. You could tell it was a Motel from the mid century but the room had been renovated to today's standards with quaint little details. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the ceiling fan kept the room cool. It was also an easy walk to downtown. Over all very enjoyable and a perfect spot to spend the night.

The Towne Motel is a gem of a location. The rooms are cozy and cute. The innkeepers are lovely and kept in touch with us for the entire stay. We enjoyed the fresh-baked items we received for breakfast every day. The motel is located in downtown Camden and is an easy walk to all downtown locations. We enjoyed the establishment so much we extended our stay.

We had an emergency and needed last minute lodging with a service animal. We called ahead and then ended up walking up to see about accommodations. They were so helpful and understanding and worked with us. We stayed for one night, and ended up asking the next morning for recommendations for a taxi service. The ladies gave us many options, even going as far as to offer to take us themselves. We found a ride and checked out, but ended up having to stay outside and wait longer than anticipated. They even offered to let us back into our room to wait despite already checking out.Hospitality and price

The Towne Motel exceeded our expectations. We stayed one night and wished we would have stayed longer. The motel is one you would have found common in the 60's or 70's. The owners keep the rooms tidy and make a homemade continental breakfast. Towne Motel was the best of both worlds. A hotel and B&B combined for a wonderful experience. We got to speak with a few other guests who shared their stories and tips about the area. The owner gave us wonderful ideas for places to eat and activities during our stay. The motel is unique in so many ways and is a great way to have special

A must stay! Room inviting, nautical theme and must mention clean! The water pressure amazing! Mini fridge a plus. Appears updated recently at some point. A reasonably priced motel, clean! and at the entrance to Camden. Plan to drop your car, check in and forget about driving for awhile. Head out for dinner and you'll see a nice surprise placed on your door. What a great touch, you've thought of it all ensuring your motel stands out compared to the rest!

I don't have much to add to that you haven't already read in the other reviews but my wife and two kids and myself stayed here and really loved it. Cute nautical themed rooms, great location, fresh locally baked pastries served in the owners dining area of their house. Will be back, staying here again! The best deal in town, highly recommend!

This motel is the best !
We always stay in Room 18....the Pet Suite. Talk about "pet friendly "! The room is above what was a garage, away from other guests. Away from the road. Nice and quiet.
The room has an apartment sized fridge and stove, microwave and Keurig, sink and fully equipped kitchen supplies.
The bed is covered in a cute pet-themed sheet ("We know your pet wants to be on the bed with you ."). There are also two doggie beds for our dog, a bowl for food and one for water, a box of treats on the kitchen table, and a basket of towels on the stairs for rainy nights
