I am very capable of changing my own tire, but it's just a pain in the butt to do in a truck, so when I had a flat, I called Old 181 Wrecker service. They were great! The driver that assisted me was professional, arrived in a timely manner as their operator said. I highly recommend Old 181 Wrecker Service.

I’ve used 181 for both car tow and vehicle lock out. I’ve met both Peter and Juan, and they were both professional, on time when dispatch said they would arrive, and very friendly!! I will always call Old 181, obviously, when I’m within their service area, when needing their services!! Easy to communicate with and reasonably priced!

This company was so helpful immediately after I got into a car wreck. Very quick, efficient, and truly care about their customers! After my wreck, I had no idea where my car went and no idea where the sheriffs brought my cat because I had been transferred to the hospital. Old 181 towing helped me to find my car and reunited me with my cat within the same day! They worked with me and my situation and were extremely patient throughout the whole process. I am so thankful for all the help and care they offered me with.

My motor home got stuck in the mud. Worst case I've ever seen. I wondered how we would ever get it out of the mud. Called this company out to take care of it. They arrived very quickly. I thought it would be impossible to pull that 30' motor home out of the mud. The gentleman that arrived to assist us was very professional and courteous. What a pro! He had that motor home out of the mud in no time at all. Will definitely use this company again. Totally recommend them!!!

Came across Old 181 Wrecker service the first time when I was traveling from the Valley to SA. I had a flat tire in Three Rivers, I called my insurance company and they connected me to Old 181 Wrecker Service. The driver, Agnes was very courteous, professional and kind. She was fantastic.
Anytime I am in the surrounding areas and need some sort of roadside assistance, i know who ill be calling. She was telling me they also do lockouts and tows.

I was traveling on I 37 near Mathis and had a blow out. I called my insurance, they contacted Old 181 Wrecker Service, LLC. I was concerned because I did not know my exact location. The dispatcher Rose was very sweet, patient and genuine. She walked me through dropping a pin location. I was told the ETA would be about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Rose continued to check on me and the driver called me several times with updates on his ETA. I highly recommend Old 181 Wrecker Service.

Had a radiator bust on me outside Three Rivers, TX at around 3pm on a Thursday. I was referred to 181 Wrecker through my insurance. It took them about 2.5 hours to arrive, but we were in the middle of nowhere and the guy was on the other side of San Antonio doing a job there. The driver was super nice and we were able to get our Civic towed 111 miles for only $170, much lower than we thought it would be. I would certainly recommend these guys to anyone stranded in South Central Texas.
