Tara Marolda is a fine art photographer capturing the human essence. Raised on the tiny island of Anguilla, Venezuela, Los Angeles, and Kenya, she now calls Aspen home. Educated in the field, her upbringing included treks through the Amazon with her father, long desert safaris with her documentary film maker mother, and cape buffalos rubbing up against her tented bedroom in Kenya.
It was during these exotic, extended travels with family she first discovered her love of the camera. She has since crafted her work into what you see today, a photographer pursuing light and catching the nuances of nature. Spanning beyond traditional poses, she depicts true personality and her artistic eye and approachable feel are at the foundation of every job.

We had the best experience having our family pictures taken with Tara Marolda. She captured the essence of our family and what it is like to have that moment forever. I can't say it enough how amazing our experience was and how we will have Tara share her gift with us for years to come! Tara photographed our wedding. I couldn't be more pleased. She is a true professional. We have an extremely large family and she was so kind and patient with everyone in order to get those perfect family photos. She also has a keen eye for stunning wedding party images and breathtaking bride and groom portraits. She worked quickly and very efficiently to keep up with our hectic wedding day schedule. She gave easy to follow instructions for posed shots, and was also able to easily blend with the crowd for those unplanned but magical and candid moments. Tara has been our family photographer since our first child was born. Looking back, I am incredibly grateful we had Tara there to capture those precious images with her artistic eye and her uncanny ability to make everyone feel at ease in front of a camera. Tara and Luca are absolutely amazing to work with. Not only did the photos turn out beyond beautiful, but taking them was one of my favorite parts of my wedding. They were so comfortable to be around and created such a lovely enviroment. My husband can be extremely camera shy and they made him feel at ease which made for some great romatic shots. Tara is incredible! We have used her for at least 6 photoshoots since our daughter was born 2 years ago. What can I say, I love photos and Tara perfectly captures our family every time. Tara is amazing! A joy to be around but most importantly a fantastic photographer. She has been there to capture the most special moments in my life- my husband and I's engagement photos, a boudoir session, our wedding, newborn photos of our son and family photos throughout. I find it truly amazing how she can capture the most amazing moments in all these different settings. I am always so excited to see her work and have never been disappointed. She is truly the BEST!

We have been so fortunate to have Tara capture our family in photos several times. She has done graduation photos, head shots, as well as large family sessions. I love the care and attention she gives to each client. She always takes the time to make her subjects feel comfortable and she made us all look our very best. Tara was incredible to work with - so talented and has a great eye for capturing the special moments. We worked with her for our wedding and she was such a blast to work with and we felt so comfortable around here, just like we were old friends.
