Chris Tapia, a native of Texas, was born and raised in San Antonio. He graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a graduate of the San Antonio College School of Mortuary Science.
His career spanned over 25 years with SCI Service Corporation International, Inc, where he refined his skill set to include, Arranging Funeral Director, Assistant Manager of location, Manager of the place, Regional Vice President of Training for Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.At the end of his career with SCI, Inc, he managed and operated the Neptune Society of Austin.

Very appreciative of Chris's help trying to navigate funeral plan for a loved one. Chris was exceedingly fast getting back to me, making costs and options easy to understand. We went through much of it via email and phone but I'm sure Chris would've been fine face to face. I live a distance from the loved one, I was planning for, so the discussion/planning via email/phone was extremely helpful.

Chris Tapia helped our funeral home in Wisconsin with caring for cremation services of a gentleman who died in Cedar Park, Texas. I could not have been more impressed by the prompt and thorough work he provided. He is truly a professional. I told Chris that if every funeral home across the nation had as much dedication for their work as he does, the world of funeral service would be much better!

Chris with a plus cremation is extremely cordial, pleasant and helpful to work with while dealing with my father's remains. Because the close of one’s life becomes a challenge for those remaining, there are individuals who can and will step in to provide the guidance needed. Christopher (Chris) Tapia is one of those individuals. He is the owner of A-Plus Cremation and oversees every step of the process. His company was on a list of businesses given to me by an Asceracare Hospice Chaplain. I contacted Chris prior to my wife’s passing and he walked me through the entire process from reclamation to internment services. A phone call to his company was all that was required
