We worked with Justin on 3 custom pieces for our bedroom. We knew we wanted to feature live edge wood but we had specific designs / measurements we wanted. Justin worked with us to confirm the height of our bed and headboard, the dimensions for our nightstands, and the dimensions and specific design of our dresser. We're very happy with the result. Prices are fair for the quality of the work. We have been very happy with the craftsmanship.
The custom nature of these orders means there is a wait time, but we were in no rush and were very happy with the products we got.

I highly recommend this local Vancouver / Portland area woodworking company.
I commissioned these folks, and worked with Justin, for two walnut bed frames and two walnut night tables. Justin listened well and was patient in understanding requests and answering questions.
Beautiful materials were used and finished product craftsmanship is impressive. I was very happy with their price point, and it was less than Room and Board items I had been considering.
Justin was accommodating in every way and bundled my delivery with another customers in the same area, set the beds up while I was away using

Running up against a very tight deadline, Garrett Michael and his crew were able to accommodate and work around our hectic schedule in meeting to discuss, design and produce a stunning custom desk. Justin Appel and the other guys produce awesome custom furniture unlike other furniture I've seen. The wood is gorgeous, the designs are innovative and each piece is unique. Most importantly, you can trust these guys to deliver for you. I have had many comments on the piece I have in my house from them. I could not be happier!

We worked with Garrett Michael of Makers Woodworks to develop a custom table for the breakfast nook in our kitchen. The communication was timely and the proposal was very reasonable for custom work. We were able to receive our custom table, for a nominal and optional delivery fee, within three weeks!
We are very impressed with the quality of this table. It is beautiful and well made. We are so happy we decided to go the custom route, as now we have a lasting piece that fits our needs perfectly.
