Our vision at Stepping Stones Preparatory Academy is to provide an environment that offers advanced instruction to children, so they're academically, emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually prepared for grade school and beyond. We're committed to providing a quality preparatory program where children are not only excited to learn, but one in which they feel safe and secure enough to reach their full potential.
Established in 2000, Stepping Stones Preparatory Academy provides daycare services as well as preschool and private kindergarten. We believe it's essential to get children off to a great start. That's why we follow a curriculum based on early childhood brain research to nurture developing minds. Our infant and toddler daycare services in The Woodlands, TX are second-to-none.
Preschool education is an excellent way to get your child ready for kindergarten in the coming years. However, it can be challenging to choose the perfect school for your child. At Stepping Stones Preparatory Academy, we have premier programs for preschoolers aged three to five, as well as strong programs for toddlers and before and after-school care.
Our math curriculum includes Math Work Stations by Debbie Diller. Math Work Stations allow students to develop conceptual understanding and skills as well as use math vocabulary as they talk about their mathematical thinking and connect big ideas to meaningful independent exploration and practice. Key concepts are based on TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills).
Through the premier before and after-school programs at Stepping Stones Preparatory Academy in The Woodlands, TX, each child experiences stimulating character development. While enrolled in our after-school or before-school program, your child will be immersed in extracurricular activities and will develop long-lasting skills for their future.

So being a mother of two that is probably wayyy over protective of her children I was lost and helpless whenever I had a horrible experience at a center that I thought was perfect. Frantically I (no exaggeration) called 25 centers from spring, woodlands, Conroe (where we live), Willis & Montgomery trying to see if they had not only availability for both kids but also looked like they would be the best fit! After a month long process of touring centers and coming to the possible conclusion that I would have to stop working and watch my babies I was COMPLETELY BLESSED to come across Stepping Stones

We absolutely LOVE this school ! Our daughter has been here over 1 year now and has blossomed & developed beyond our wildest imagination. Although I no longer work in the woodlands area , we drive out of our way to bring our child here because the school , staff & teachers are just that wonderful! ♥️ I highly recommend Stepping Stones !

Our daughter has been attending since she was 3 months old (now 2 1/2), so we've shared many milestones with Stepping Stones. The teachers and staff are so loving and have been an integral part of her learning and development. She loves going to school everyday. Our two-month old son just started and we're at ease knowing he's in good hands. <3

Both of my kids started going to Stepping Stones at 3 months old and they have thrived there! I get updates on my phone via their app, where they post everything from what they had to eat and how much to pictures and videos of your kiddos. When my kids are there, I know that they will be taught, encouraged, and most importantly loved on by the teachers and staff. They also have had a ton of extracurricular opportunities at stepping stones, like offering swim lessons in the summer, which is amazing! Stepping Stones has been huge in both of my kids development, and I can not recommend them enough

Both of my girls have been attending Stepping Stone for about 2 years now. The school seems to be organized and have a great curriculum that keeps them engaged. The girls are learning a lot and having fun. They also have fun events and outings often they they look forward to. Overall it had been a great school for us and I would highly recommend it!

Our twins just completed their first year of preschool at Stepping Stones and we have been blow by their progress. All the staff are so warm and loving to our kiddos they get excited to return each week. Our soon to be first grader is very excite to attend their summer camp this year too, the activity lineup is jam packed with fun activities for the big kids!

We were a little nervous about our six month old, George, starting school when I had to go back to work. However, George just loves going to Stepping Stones! His teachers are so caring and loving, it is obvious that they have a passion for working with babies. They send home adorable artwork, send us pictures and videos during the day, and are very loving! The reception is so friendly every day coming and going. We are so glad that we found such an amazing school!

My daughter has been going here since she was 3. She is in elementary school now and just goes to after school and mornings a couple days a week now but she still loves it. My daughter also attended the private kindergarten due to her being born in December. She is so smart and socialized and I believe some of this is due to her attending Stepping Stones from an early age.The facility itself is clean and very nice but the staff is what makes this place so special. The director Mrs. Mathews is amazing and so are the teachers like Mrs. Rose and others. I would highly recommend this place and want
