If you are worried about exposure we suggest calling us and booking a private tour (available on both the large and small boats). If this seems cost prohibitive perhaps now is not the time to take a tour.

Services
Cruise with your native captain along the expansive inner coastline of Assateague Island, where the wild ponies live. This scenic cruise on our larger vessel offers equally beautiful and glorious sights of Chincoteague and Assateague Island! Daisey's Island Cruises is a family-owned business, where everyone feels that extra touch of kind hospitality and small-town charm.
This scenic tour aboard a six-passenger pontoon boat begins by navigating around the southern end of Chincoteague Island and heading to the backside of Assateague Island. We seek out and observe the wild ponies in their native habitat. Enjoy listening to local history and information on Assateague and Chincoteague Island as you take in the sights!
For larger groups, we offer this scenic cruise on a large pontoon boat. See the wild ponies and other wildlife of Chincoteague Island and Assateague Island up close! Daisey's Island Cruises has a National Park Service permit, which allows us to operate our tours within the boundary of the Assateague Island National Seashore.
Come out and search for dolphins on this exciting adventure! Dolphins are fun, inquisitive, and beautiful, and there is nothing like seeing them in the wild. Rather than a scenic nature tour, this is a fast, fun adventure tour. Jump waves, go out to the ocean, and have a blast on the water! Limited to six passengers, this experience gives you a front-row seat to watch dolphins playing in their natural habitat!
Get front row seats to a famous attraction on the Eastern Shore. Enjoy the comfort of the boat, company, shade, and a restroom with the best vantage point possible as the wild ponies swim in the annual Chincoteague Pony Penning Round Up, Swim, and Swim Back! Call early to reserve your seat as we fill up quickly!

Taking a Cruise with Daisey’s Island Cruises is one of the best ways to explore the islands! The 2 hour tours sail between the islands. It’s a breathtaking, relaxing and unique way to see the Chincoteague… Ponies along with the native birds and other wild life. Daisey’s is open all year around and they offer gift certificates that make an excellent “experience gift!” Great for the entire family!

Really wonderful boat tour with Captain Nate of Daisey’s Boat Tours! He really made out tour an all around beautiful experience. His expertise and love of the natural wonders of Chincoteague and Assateague… conveyed a bit of the peace and beauty of this unique place. Wild ponies, dolphins, sea birds and a surprisingly breath taking sunset at the end of a cloudy, drizzly day. Thank you to Captain Nate and Daisey’s for a wonderful time! Joanne, Jon, Rowan & Killian

Sandy was an terrific captain and guide and brought us to see a wonderful, beautiful herd of ponies hanging out on the shoreline. We were able to get so incredibly close in the 6-person pontoon, and the ponies came as close to the edge as they could to check us out! Got close enough to see one of the ponies has blue eyes! Such an amazing and most memorable experience!

Used them twice now. We were able to get up close this time to the ponies. Would recommend earlier in the day to see them. This year we took the 11:30 tour. I also prefer the smaller pontoons, it's more personal. The guides I've had are also very knowledgeable about the island. 12/10 recommend Daisey's!

Value for Money.
The entire experience with Daisey Island Cruises was awesome. Right from online booking, accomodating our request to bring our stroller, Captain Tom's knowledge of the island and his patience to take us to spots where we were able to see the wild ponies were all great.
During our cruise we encountered ponies on multiple spots. We were also able to see A 4 year old Vulture's nest. The experience was enjoyable.
Though the land temperature was in low 60s when we did the trip at 11.30 am. It got pretty windy and chilly when the cruise started. So getting yourself prepared for a
