At J and M Services, we're happy to help our customers cut costs whenever possible! We would MUCH rather save you a few bucks and hopefully earn your Friend / Neighbor / Families work than nitpick to get every last dollar out of you. We can pull the permit for you when required for a small fee, or we offer free email and/or phone advice if you want to pull your own permit.
A - Yes, we can do that (affordably too). Cooking with Natural Gas or Propane has many advantages. The burners heat up instantly, no waiting for a coil to heat via electrical current. The burners get much hotter which is perfect for stir fry or quickly boiling water. Another advantage is how quickly the burners cool down, almost instantly once the flame is turned off.
We also get many calls for Gas Leak repair. The best thing for a homeowner to do when they smell gas is to call NW Natural! They will come out, locate the gas leak, assess the danger (if any) and tag the leak location, which speeds up the process when we arrive on the scene. We have the same high dollar digital gas detectors (sniffers) as NW Natural.
The Importance of keeping Professionally Trained Gas Line Installation Technicians happy and loving their jobs!. Do you know what's in the air you're breathing? When we are outside it is difficult to control what we breathe, but in many cases the air inside our homes is surprisingly much worse. They kept me informed of arrival. Were professional in their work, and were very respectful of my home. All mess was cleaned up and any furniture moved was replaced. My home smells much better, and much less dust. Will have this dome much more regularly in the future.

These folks were great to work with! We were in the process of buying a new house and I was unsure of how many ducts we actually had. Michelle took the time to go through the listing photos to count vents so we could get a pretty close estimate.
When they arrived the guys were really courteous and pleasant - even putting up with my nosy cat! I had to remove the dryer vent cleaning as we plan to remodel that area to make it more functional. The guys explained how they'd be able to help move the vent location when we were ready to tackle that project. They even helped explain how to remove

J&M Service was recommended by a HVAC professional that Home Depot referred me. I needed my dryer vent hooked up after some roofing work and I needed a second bid since the first one seemed especially high and I could tell they were uncomfortable with the vent going to the roof. J&M came in and the price was almost half. They also asked about cleaning our heating duct, which we were also happy with. But back to the dryer vent, we got a new dryer five months later and the dryer told us the air flow was blocked. Talked to Michelle and she said they would be out and there would be no charge

Originally scheduled for just a vent and duct cleaning and was glad that we used the folks out of the Vancouver office. The two men, both named Mike were accommodating in my request to remove their shoes when they entered the house and conducted themselves in a professional and courteous manner the entire time they were completing the job. They discovered a large hole in one of the ducts that was in a difficult access spot and and I was impressed with the ease in which they did the work and the fair price. I found this service on Home Advisor. I needed to have my new gas range plumbed for gas and vented. The service fellow, Eric, was timely, dressed for the business and courteous. He knew what he was doing. When he returned to start the job, he was timely and courteous again. I would recommend their service every time.
