During the initial exam we will take a full health history and you will be asked questions regarding your symptoms, health, nutrition and lifestyle. Your Acupuncturist will check your pulses, look at your tongue and may conduct a physical exam.

I honestly wouldn’t have made it through my pregnancy without the help of Annette. She is absolutely amazing and helped with everything from severe back and hip pain to heartburn and sleepiness and even getting the baby into the right position for an amazing complication free natural birth. I feel so fortunate to have found her and would highly recommend her practice to anyone looking for an amazing acupuncturist! Her knowledge, skills and techniques are truly top notch!

I was scheduled to get a cortisone shot after being in chronic pain in my shoulder for over a year. With only two treatments my pain is almost gone and I took my first yoga class in forever! Annette is calming and attentive. She made me feel very comfortable even though I was very nervous about the needles. I'm SO glad I tried this before getting the shot! I just cancelled my dr. appointment. :-) Thanks Annette!

Annette and the Acupuncture Mama team are amazing! I was new to acupuncture, and Annette made me feel at ease. She has a very gentle approach to acupuncture and has alleviated the anxiety and neck/back pain I was having. My pain has gone down, I'm sleeping better, and feeling more balanced overall. Her clinic is very nice, and the location is great with easy parking. Annette is a true healer :)

Annette is amazing! I have been going to Annette for almost a year now. When I first went in for a consult I was terrified. I do not like needles. I cry when one comes near me. I have had acupuncture suggested enough times I thought I would at least come see what it was all about. While I wouldn't say I enjoy the process, I will confidently say that I enjoy my weekly appointments with Annette. If she can make a believe out of me (and a weekly client out of someone who still cries at shots) then she can help anyone!

5 stars. Annette was wonderful and her office is clean and comfortable.
This is a big compliment. Maybe I wasn't supposed to fall fast asleep on her table, but I actually had the best nap in years on her table. I didn't realize how worn down I was and after she did the needles part, I was out like a light. Wow, I had no clue acupuncture was so reinvigorating. I highly recommend it.

Annette Romios is absolutely amazing! She has helped me calm my stress and nerves all the way from getting married, to having babies. She has treated me during both pregnancies, has helped me feel better, deal with back pain, sleep, the list is endless. She is just wonderful. Thorough, gentle, very well educated, and genuinely cares about making her patients feel great. Can not recommend Annette enough.

Annette is simply amazing. Her care, her touch and skills are wonderful. I love her space and the environment she has created and she is always wants to be completely accommodating to my needs and comfort (I'm pretty picky). I feel amazing after our sessions - incredible energy and just completely restored. She really takes the whole person into account - not just the Traditional Chinese Medicine approach (which I know is already very comprehensive but can be done more "dryly" and not always so tuned into how the person is actually doing while receiving the work).

I feel very fortunate to have the chance to work with such a great acupuncturist close to home. I came in a year ago with a variety of things I was working on in my life. When I first Met Annette, I could tell right away I would be in for an amazing experience! I have only known her for almost a month now. She is amazing at what she does! Her energy is off the wall amazing! Plus the work that she does and how in touch she can be with my treatment. Has made my life so amazingly easier! I never give 5 star reviews to just anyone! She is one acupuncturist you would not be disappointed, in seeing ever! I suffer from a lot of anxiety, depression, as well as an injury happened several years ago. I've been to 3 sessions with Annette so far and love it. It was my first time doing acupuncture and Annette took a lot of time getting to know me and why I was seeking acupuncture. I could of gone to Kaiser for a much cheaper price but I wanted a caring and healing feel which Annette definitely provides. She is so kind and she really cares about her clients.

I found Annette thru Groupon. And I am glad I did! I have been having lower back problems for years and it has gotten worse after my daughter arrived. She is 20 months now and I have thrown my back out multiple times. I really wanted to get back into working out but I was finding every type of exercise was hurting my back. I first decided to try a chiropractor and that did not work for me at all. I am not a fan of the intense adjustments that are made to your body. I needed something much more gentle and effective. I didn't get any relief from the chiropractor. Also I had heard great stories

I've been going to Annette for about a month now on a weekly basis. I'm seeing her for a treatment plan but I have a feeling I'll be continuing to work with Annette for many years to come. She is so personable, friendly, and just downright caring. She's also easily reachable and has been so easy to communicate with. I truly enjoy my weekly acupuncture sessions with her. I went in never having acupuncture before and being pretty worried that I'd experience pain but she put my mind to ease. If I ever feel any discomfort she's been able to slightly make an adjustment

I can only echo what everyone else has written previously about Annette's skill, compassion, knowledge and caring. When I moved to Sonoma from San Francisco, my acupuncturist in SF referred me to Annette and I feel extremely fortunate to have found her. Annette has successfully treated me over the past year+ for everything ranging from adrenal fatigue to sports injuries to recovery after a bout with malaria. I found Annette Romios on Groupon and bought 3 sessions with her to check out her practice. She's fantastic! I utilized my sessions when I pulled a muscle in my back. I remembered from past experience that I can treat it without medications and instead with the trifecta of acupuncture, massage and chiropractic modalities. It worked! Between the cups, fire cups, emotional acupuncture and spot treatment acupuncture I feel like a new person! Annette has been treating me for several ailments over the past couple years, and I've found relief where I hadn't with other acupuncturists before. She is caring and attentive when we sit and chat before my treatments.
She is also very personable and will make suggestions on other types of treatments that may benefit me. I enjoy her treatments, but I also coming in beforehand and sitting down in a quiet place and work on my mindfulness beforehand.
