Protect your asphalt! An asphalt overlay is a process that can add much life to an existing road, parking lot and even driveway. As the name implies, an additional layer is added over the existing mat. Prep work is critical in the success of an overlay. This includes taking care of any patching, sealing of cracks, milling along the curbs, sidewalks or swales which help maintain flow lines.
Sealcoating is a protective coating to extend pavement life by reducing oxidation from the sun, protecting from water exposure, gas and oil damage from vehicles and even rain or irrigation damage. Seal coating enhances pavement appearance and adds overall beauty to your property. The success of seal coat means getting the pavement as clean as possible, usually performed with blowers and brooms, sometimes through power washing.
As asphalt pavement ages, cracks may begin to appear. Cracks develop for a variety of reasons - among the most common are thermal stresses, fatigue and reflective cracking from underlying pavement conditions. Along with patching, crack sealing is the second most important maintenance program to follow.
Make a good first impression with your customers by greeting them with a clean parking area and the proper signage. After all, your parking lot is the first thing your customers or potential tenants see when they approach your property. If your apartment parking lot is damaged, with barely visible striping, just imagine what potential tenants think the inside of your apartments must be like.
Pioneer Paving & Grading, Inc. also performs the finish work to make your project look complete. Curbs, sidewalks, loading docks, access ramps, parking bumpers and speed bumps are all additional services we can provide to add professional, curb appeal to your business. We can provide access ramps in both concrete and asphalt that meet A.D.A. requirements when necessary.

This was definitely a 5-star job. I was completely satisfied with the entire job done by Pioneer Paving. The professional manner and quality of work by the crew led by Juan the on-site Forman was outstanding. The fact that it was done on time and as proposed was a significant factor in order to minimize the inconvenience to our tenants and their customers. Dave and his job Forman, Juan were excellent in every way, it was completed as proposed and on time. I solicited 3 contractors for my paving job at The Village Shops at Los Ranchos on North 4th Street and was extremely impressed with Dave’s

David Rooney was very professional and his company appears to have done a first rate job in repaving our driveway. David did not even invoice us for payment until after he came back to our house a few days later to inspect the job. After the inspection, on their own suggestion, they came back to patch a few spots that were retaining water due to rain and our irrigation system. Of course, only time will tell whether a quality job was done, but so far it seems that the work was done in a very competent manner. Also, the foreman, Juan, was very responsive and helpful while the job was being done.
