I drop my car off because there’s a weird noise by the front tire, they call me and explain it’s the sway bar so i told them to go ahead and fix it. Mind you, i’m a 23 year old girl who knows nothing about cars. My car wasn’t wobbly NOTHING was wrong but the weird noise. Well they go ahead a fix everything that wasn’t wrong with it and charge me nearly $4,000! I pay it of course and expect to pick up my vehicle in excellent condition. Not the case. I picked it up in the EXACT condition i dropped it off. I’ve been calling the store to get ahold of the owner to hopefully resolve this

My 90 year old mother takes her car there and they’ve always been very honest and accommodating. Where another shop told her she might have to spend around 1 thousand to get something simple fixed Fair Oaks said it was a simple alternator fix. Thank you for being so honest with my mom!

Its almost impossible to find a garage that is honest, and capable. Fair Oaks Automotive was actually recommended to me by Cavender Chevrolet. Fair Oaks has done all my service work for approximately 8 years now. They are honest, qualified in every discipline, and priced competitively. You can trust their judgment completely.

The gentlemen at Fair Oaks Automotive are very fair, they explain everything to you so you understand. As a woman going to a mechanic is daunting as I know nothing about motors. But they explain everything, look for the least expensive solution, are fairly priced and get it fixed quickly. I've been many times, and will continue to bring my vehicles there!

I went in for a state inspection, had 3 cars ahead of me but I got in/out quickly. They have a very efficient system for inspections and are in a great location.
Just don’t try going over a lunch break... they are closed from 12-1pm.
My only complaint is that the staff was not very friendly.

They tried to charge me double what other mechanics in the area were going to charge to change out AC Condenser. When I went to pick up the vehicle to take somewhere else they charge $150 for diagnostics that took ten min. I was never told of a charge for diagnostics. This place is overpriced and has hidden fees.

I took my grandsons BMW to Fair Oaks Automotive on Tuesday morning. The left rear window was down. Talked to Chris who said they would look at it and let me know. That was at 10am; didn’t hear anything from him until the next morning. Chris text that the regulator need to be replaced. The total to do would be $599.87; I thought the total was too… much, so I looked up the price. The part cost is around $38. Called Chris and told him not to do the work. I had to pay $131 for misc labor. My family and I have been taking our vehicles there for many year and I have recommended them to friends
