A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Regular dental exams help protect your oral health and general well-being. A dental exam gives your dentist a chance to detect any problems as early as possible. The American Dental Hygienists' Association recommends that adults schedule dental exams every six months or more depending on your dentist's recommendation.
Sometimes tooth decay, infection, and breakage happen and teeth need to be restored back to health. Should your teeth ever require a restorative treatment, we will always discuss your options and recommend what we believe to be the most comfortable and least invasive treatment. Crowns - are a tooth-shaped "cap" that is placed over a tooth to restore its shape and strength.
When you walk into our Marco Island dental office, you'll be warmly welcomed by our office staff. As a first time patient, you will be asked to fill out new patient paperwork. In order to save you time, please take a moment to print and fill out the New Patient Registration paperwork below. Please make sure to bring them on your first visit to our office, as well as your dental insurance card if you have dental insurance.

My whole family has been going to Dr. Welker for 4 years now. They see all 4 of my children from age 2 -8 years. They take there time with my kids and show them what every tool does. They make getting a cleaning a wonderful experience. They schedule around school hours so they its not a hassle to get my kids out of school to get a cleaning. This is a dentist we will have for a very long time.

I highly recommend Dr. Welker for your dental needs! She and her entire team are friendly top-notch professionals. Even though I’m no longer a Florida resident, and have lived and worked in Maryland for the past 4 years, I’ve maintained Dr. Welker as my dentist. I think that says it all. When I visit Marco 2-3 times a year, I make my bi-annual appointments. They care about your overall dental health and will give you an honest assessment of your needs and keep things on track. My advice...choose Dr. Welker.

My entire family have gone to Dr. Welker’s office for routine cleanings as well as issues that arise for the past 8 years. Dr. Welker and staff do a phenomenal job, if you are looking for a dentist I would highly recommend anyone on the Island or close to Marco to check out Dr. Welker!!! They take children too!
