I found Fred through online reviews. I needed my pulldown attic ladder replaced and several shop-lights installed in my garage. Fred showed up on time, had the materials necessary to do the job, and worked the entire day to get the job done. He asked me great clarifying questions about where I wanted things, how I wanted them installed, and shared any concerns he had.

Towards the end of the day, he realized he was missing a piece for an outlet install and he wasn't able to get one due to the wide-ranging supply chain issues going on. He kept in touch with me and came back a few days later

Fred is an absolute treasure. He is a clear and concise communicator and is SO patient with us as first-time homeowners who only know what we're doing about half the time. We had a 13 year old dishwasher that wasn't working and Fred explained that it was hooked up to the garbage disposal so all of the refuse from the disposal was going back toward the washer and clogging the pipe that connected them.

We bought a new dishwasher and he hauled away the old one, brought our electrical up to code behind the washer, cut a hold in our granite so that he could install an overflow device, and installed the new machine.

He was on time, gave us a clear estimate before hand, and did quality work. We will definitely call him the next time we need help!

Not only he helped me with some fixing work, but also he designed and built a walk-in closet for us. His price is way cheaper than other custom closet contractor I quoted with. Fred was amazing! He's prompt with his responses, very personable, extremely skilled, and just simply a genuine, nice guy. Fred is really awesome to work with! I'm an out of state landlord and he helped me take care of all the little things that needed to be repaired to turn over the property. Notably the slate stone flooring in the entryway was deeply scratched by my previous tenant. I called a few other handyman services and despite providing specific instructions on how to go about the repair (via google) none were willing to take on the challenge. Fred was down to help and when he was done he sent me pics and the slate stones looked brand new again!

I had a few projects for him:
- Fix holes in the drywall left by previous contractors. He did a wonderful job here. Looks great.
- The bigger job I had was to replace posts for my carport. The posts were on top of concrete and rotting. Not only did he replace the posts, he fixed the actual problem by using a galvanized plate between the concrete and the post to prevent the rotting from happening again. He was able to drill through the existing concrete without cracking and saved me a lot of money.
