Services
Melisa Ferriola began her career in make-up at the Pennsylvania State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Arts and Science with an emphasis in theatre. Melisa studied and applied stage and special effects make-up for the university theatre company. After graduating from college, Melisa worked as a free-lance make-up artist for a theatre company in Santa Barbara, CA.
Lasting Looks offers permanent cosmetics for eyebrows, eyeliner and lips, plus areola pigmentation, scar camouflage and extensive corrective work. All services by appointment in our private, professional Hockessin, Delaware studio. The eyebrow has the power to frame your entire face and bring out a more youthful dimension.
Permanent Cosmetics is cosmetic tattooing. Colored pigment is implanted into the upper layer of the dermis. Also, permanent cosmetics and body art is an industry within itself. It is completely separate from the "Beauty Industry." Area technicians are claiming to be "in the industry" for several years, inflating their experience.
The gallery of photos below are all clients from Lasting Looks. All Permanent Cosmetics have been done by Melisa Ferriola. Most of the pictures are taken immediately after the procedure and so the look is darker and stronger than the healed result. During the healing process, the top epidermal layer of skin is shed taking excess pigment with it.

I wish I had my eyebrows done years ago. Not only does it save me time on a daily basis, I have saved tons of money already not having to purchase the cosmetics and tools. I was nervous to have it done but Melisa came highly recommended by several people I trust. It has improved my appearance and confidence. I highly recommend her. She’s amazing, professional, and very reasonably priced.

After purchasing a Groupon to another shop and having an awful experience I contacted Lasting Looks. Melisa was so helpful and patient, she thoroughly explained the process and what corrections needed to be made.
She did an amazing job correcting and reshaping my eyebrows. I have been twice now and love the outcome. I was also excited that the process was painless unlike my first experience at the other place.
I am so happy to have found someone that I know I can trust since I am new to permanent cosmetics.

I have seen Melissa at Lasting Looks three times now and have an appointment for next week. I have had eyeliner done on both upper and lower lids. I love it and I get a lot of compliments on it.
Melissa is very professional and also a perfectionist which is what you need when someone is working on your face! She is very easy to reach if you need her or have questions. Her pricing is very fair as well. I reccomend her highly.

After a very bad experience with another shop, I went searching for someone who could fix my eyebrows and make them look natural again. It's been a couple of months now and I look in the mirror and I'm so pleased with what I see.
Melisa first had to lighten my brows, which were two different shades and two different shapes. I returned for a second lightning, and then She was able to give me a more natural, shadowed brow.
I so appreciate her patience, and professionalism!

I have Melissa do microblading on my brows and she does a beautiful job; she's attentive and listens to what you want. Her work is excellent and very natural looking. The new processes she uses (since the pandemic) when you come into the shop make you feel safe and very low risk. This was a 2 year touch up for me. I highly recommend her for all your permanent makeup needs.
