We put a $1000 deposit down for a wedding, which was rescheduled due to COVID. They didn't let us use the majority of the deposit towards the new wedding, which was a year and a half later. Also, after we first booked them, we heard from a few different separate parties in person that they weren't team players, and that if possible we should go with another DJ company. So I guess it panned out in an expected way. We ended up not using them.

We engaged Los Gatos for DJ and Photo Booth services at our recent event in Big Sur. Cassie and Dan were extraordinarily. So professional and so easy to work with. I knew we could count on them to play the music we had requested in advance, and to keep the program and the dancing moving along. It was all so seamless…the music was great, and guest of honor was thrilled. And the photo booth was a big hit. it seemed hidden away but everyone found it! So glad it was all part of the package. We hired Los Gatos Photo Booth to help our friend celebrate his 60th birthday. What a fabulous addition to the party it turned out to be! Cassie and Dan set up their equipment, installed the custom background that he ordered, and helped each guest pose for their shots. They circulated among the guests encouraging each one to have their picture taken with the birthday boy, just as my friend had wanted. Dan & Cassie DJed our Wedding and they were amazing!!! They are extremely organized and efficient. I decided on having a DJ last minute for my 20 person wedding in October 2020 (during the Pandemic) and they made it happen! They played an amazing mix of Classic with EDM as I requested!! The venue had noise restriction limits and they were wonderful at playing quietly and completely understood. They quickly responded to all my messages. Due to COVID my fiancée and I have had to reschedule our wedding twice because her family lives internationally and we wanted to ensure our loved ones would be able to attend. Cassie and Dan were very flexible and accommodating and have moved with us both times at no additional cost. Rescheduling a wedding twice can be a nightmare, but they were quick to respond and update our contract. We were asked to pay the remaining balance the first time we switched dates, which I believe is reasonable given the chaos of the pandemic. This was the only vendor of mine for my wedding that wasn't understanding of covid and needed to postpone. I never asked for a refund. I was asking for a date change. They said they couldn't move the date without the full amount due because they were very busy. This was in the heat of everyone cancelling their weddings. And weddings were not allowed during this time. So they weren't very busy. She also mentioned she needed my remaining balance to pay her rent. Very unprofessional. Don't suggest.

Cassie and Dan were the dynamic duo of the wedding. Cassies bright and charming personality was amazing when it came to dealing with guests and Dan is an unbelievable dj.
I was fairly hands on with the music selection but the way Dan interlaced the songs from one to the next was absolutely perfect and he lit up the Dancefloor.

We happily recommend Cassie at Los Gatos DJ for your wedding needs. She worked with us tightly on a tricky dance scene; about 1/3 of our attendees are social dancers (waltz, tango, swing, salsa), 1/3 are casual dancers, and 1/3 don't dance at all.
She managed to create a playlist out of eclectic preferences that made everyone happy, and had the floor going pretty much the whole evening. She even managed to source a unique request, "So This Is Love" from Cinderella... in French!
Additionally, she performed her wedding duties admirably. She made sure to get my wife's name correctly

We hired Los Gatos DJ for our wedding at Nestldown in August 2019 and seriously am so happy we did! Cassie was incredibly responsive and helpful prior to the big day, and was even more helpful on the day of. They were incredibly organized, kept our timeline on schedule, and was very charismatic with the crowd. Dan and Cassie are awesome! It's not uncommon to hear from our guests (even 6 months after our wedding reception) that it was the best party they've ever been to. That seems like an exaggeration, but I promise you it's not! Nearly EVERYONE (from 1 to 86 years old) was on the dance floor for hours straight. My feet may still be sore! Even just this week, I saw my husband's cousin who told me she thinks it was the most fun her family has ever had together.

We loved having DJ Dan be part of our wedding day! I wish I could attach a document to show everyone our crazy taste in music and DJ Dan he understood. He found the perfect balance of Oldies, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Disney Music, and pop. Everyone, from the flower girls all the way up to the senior partners loved our music choices. I don't know how he did it, I'm still blown away, it was amazing!

Los Gatos DJ Company surpassed every expectation I had! Dan and Cassie really are the most amazing team and my husband and I are so thankful we found them for our wedding! Truth be told, we hadn't even met Dan and Cassie before our big day, which is very unlike me, but we had that much confidence in them that didn't feel it was necessary.
