President and Founder Bruce Bell began a one-man powder coating operation in 1995, and with his quality workmanship, soon grew it into a larger shop, offering more services over time. Now, Bruce and his son Adam, proudly oversee a turn-key operation that includes powder coating, precision masking, and sandblasting.
ABQ Manufacturing is the largest custom coater in New Mexico. We can handle your largest and smallest powder coating projects. Our superior staff will work with you to determine the best powder applications and colors for your job. Powder coating is the technique of applying dry "paint" to a part. It contains no solvents and is applied in its dry powder form directly to the surface of the metals to be coated.
We are able to prepare, mask, and coat your precision aluminum components to ensure that they are protected and that they look great. We also specialize in precision masking to ensure that every detail is just right. We have worked with many artists in powder coating their metal artwork structures, which require a durable exterior finish.

I have worked with ABQ Manufacturing for almost 15 years and they have provided excellent quality products including powder coating, engraving and heat treating along with wonderful and responsive customer service. Their team is quick to provide quotes and information for all RFQ's and for RFI's many times within the same day! Bruce and Adam exhibit an extremely high level of customer service. They do what they say and deliver on schedule every time.
