These Lake Tahoe wedding photos represent my favorite kind of wedding photography. Candid, authentic, and vivid. All in all, they come from a wide range of Lake Tahoe wedding venues. And they include every kind of celebration, from intimate elopements on the beach to large celebrations at popular wedding venues.
Lake Tahoe offers some incredible locations for engagement photos. In particular, North Lake Tahoe features a wide variety of landscapes. Besides the mountain vistas, there are many pristine sandy beaches. There are also wooded locations and open meadows. Many of these Lake Tahoe engagement photography locations are close enough that we can shoot in multiple locations on the same afternoon.
The Dance Floor is back! Like many other couples last year, Taylor and Jordan postponed their Squaw Valley wedding until 2021. Even with the big plans on hold, we got together last summer for a stunning, stormy Lake Tahoe engagement session. Mountain breezes returned to their wedding, adding some beautiful energy and motion to their day.
Wow- where do I even begin with this one?! Sometime before Chrissy and Jon's wedding in Graeagle, I reviewed my notes from our very first phone call. Of course, there were lots of details about their timeline, how they selected their venue, and even how they got together. But most of my notes were about their priorities for the wedding.
Breanna and Ryan's Chateau wedding at Incline Village landed on an idyllic fall day in Lake Tahoe. Tahoe is where they spent their first vacation away together, and it proved to be an ideal place to tie the knot. The Chateau has more than one ceremony site, and the creekside setting is the perfect place for smaller Lake Tahoe weddings.

I was extremely impressed with the energy Chris brought to photographing our wedding in terms of not missing a single moment. It seemed like he cloned himself and captured more than 1 person could even attempt in that situation. He was there early and stayed late to not miss an important moment.
And in terms of quality of the pictures, he generated so many incredible photos. I know I am biased since it was our wedding, however I feel like I can (somewhat) objectively say that I have seen a lot of wedding photographs in the last 20 years, and these are the best I have ever seen. My husband and I had an amazing experience working with Chris at our wedding this past June. Chris was extremely easy to work with and very responsive leading up to our event. He made us both feel very comfortable and did an amazing job of getting quality, candid shots of both my husband and I, as well as all of our guests. Chris was very professional and super easy to work with for our small wedding in Tahoe. We cannot suggest him highly enough to truly give him the support he deserves. His ability to listen to our needs and fit them into the total package was outstanding. Chris was terrific! I reached out fairly last minute and Chris was more than accommodating to capture my engagement. Having talked to a few other photographers it was clear that Chris was by far and away the best option to capture this special moment. He made sure to make it about us and our preferences and had great recommendations on how to best capture the moment. He was very responsive and staked out the area before we got there to make sure he was prepped to get the best phots possible. We are so fortunate that Chris was able to photograph our daughter's wedding! He was wonderful to work with from our first inquiry - patient, helpful and flexible through the many changes forced by Covid-19 - up to the wedding day itself.

Chris is the best wedding photographer in Tahoe. We checked out many before our wedding and selected Chris because of the beautiful natural light photos in his portfolio as well as the uniqueness of the sittings that he set up. I want to preface this by saying that my husband and I do not often leave reviews, but our experience with Chris warrants one for sure! We have been local to the area for nearly a decade, and wanted to have a quintessential 'mountain wedding' in the woods. Chris is such an amazing photographer and person! My husband and I are so thrilled that he was the one shooting our wedding. The pictures are absolutely stunning and every time we look at them, we are reminded of now only how wonderful our day was, but how lucky we are to have met Chris.
