CX Photo Works professional photography Creatively eXpresses brands through photographic works. I'm Kevin Medlin, and I love to create amazing photography for businesses and marketing. I founded CX Photo Works in 2014, based here in Indianapolis, Indiana. I was born in 1970. In my teens I began shooting film cameras and developed a passion for photography.
Summary: I had been wanting to put together a movie poster type photo shoot, and since I'm a bit of a Star Wars fan, I got local actor and model, Arron Patterson, involved to do a Star Wars themed photo shoot of the Finn character. With a few helpful props, and a smoke machine we created some great looking images.
Summary: A local actor and model, Arron Patterson, and I had been wanting to get together to do a photo shoot. He threw several ideas and concepts at me, one of which was a Spartacus-themed photo shoot. Through thorough planning and execution, we were able to create some really great images. Once we settled on a Spartacus themed photo shoot it was time to start pulling together some comps.
Summary: I had the pleasure of working with Steve Campbell of Trillium Cabinets to create these great kitchens, and cabinets, that he designed. These are before and after images of the two kitchens that we shot. I wanted to show how, with extra lighting, compositing multiple images, and retouching in Photoshop, I'm able to take relatively simple image and help to make it really 'pop'.
Summary: A great, family-owned business here in Indianapolis was in need of commercial photography services for images for their web site, and for other marketing material. I worked with Aaron Wilson (owner), and Tricia Kaiser to put together a plan to create some of the key images they needed. This is a Behind The Scenes (BTS) look at our 2015 commercial photo shoot with A & D Hydra-Clean, Restoration, & Construction, here in Indianapolis, IN.

Kevin of CX Photo Works went above and beyond my expectations on my recent photography project. I just wanted a few pictures of my son with all of his taekwondo belts, and breaking some boards. Kevin suggested making an entire project out of it, and the results turned out great! I definitely recommend Kevin for any unique photography project--especially if you want to do something really creative. He was great at building from a basic concept and then turning it into a series of memorable photos.
