Peninsula Glass got its name from its beginnings. We opened up in the Peninsula neighborhood in North Portland (Oregon). The neighborhood is known for its cute, modest, yet well maintained homes, and fun little shops. In 1998 Tom Kemp, a Portland native, purchased the company. Under his leadership Peninsula Glass has maintained and continues to build on a solid reputation as a nationwide provider of different types of glass.
With all the experience and technology we have access to we have to ability to create a wide array of custom glass products in order to help you with your glass needs. Mirrors are wonderful in helping a room look bigger or providing more light, or creating more appeal to the decor. Most fireplaces are enclosed with tempered glass, which can tolerate temperatures up to 400-500 degrees Fahrenheit.
We fabricate flat glass to your specifications, meaning we can cut to precise measurements, drill, edge, and make any other necessary customizations to get started on your perfect piece of flat glass. These products are made to withstand very high temperatures and are often used in woodstoves, gas stoves, ovens, halogen lamps, and laboratories.

Fast shipping and easy ordering. The packaging was overboard too. Yes, it was a mirror, but it was tightly and thoroughly packed! I think they have experience in package handlers being rough? Totally satisfied with the cost, quality, and packaging. I have ordered from them for my church - specialty cut glass shelving, and we were very happy with our experience with those too.

I am very happy with the glass I ordered. I was surprised to get the shipping email with instructions of what to do in the event of damage. I like that they were prepared to handle that. I imagine glass can get damaged easily when shipping. It was packed very well, so a careless driver would not be likely to break it.

Great experience that exceeded my expectations. When full window manufacturers were telling me 2 months lead time to order 3 windows I decided to build them myself. Amid all the talk of supply chain and labor shortage issues, I placed the order for 3 items (1 large at 30x60") and received them 10 days later...over the New Years holiday and shipped across the country. Nice work!

I needed a 3/8 inch thick, 56 x 28 inch custom shaped tempered glass top for a coffee table. I went on the One Day Glass website and described what I wanted, including a DXF file of the design. Later that day received a price quote, including shipping (1400 miles away). The price quoted was significantly less expensive than local companies in my area. I read their reviews, accepted the quote and prepaid for the glass 4 days before Christmas. I received the glass table top 2 full weeks before the estimated arrival date. I never spoke to a person, the entire transaction was done via website and email

Purchased window a few months ago. Received email that it was shipping on 9/14/21 and that signature would be required upon delivery. Was shipped Fedex, Direct Signature Required. NO SIGNATURE OR ATTEMPT WAS EVER MADE, no door tag. Supposedly Delivered 10:24 am ON A SUNDAY (9/19/21). And, according to Fedex's Proof of Delivery, signed for by my husband, who was in OH.
Have asked repeatedly for Proof of Signature, which they tell me they have....but they won't share. (because I know it's fraudulent...) All their Covid policies relieving them of their signature requirements expired

Need to add shelves in my refrigerator and find One Day Glass, which has the best price and easiest configuration tool. Order from its website is simple and fast. I ordered two tempered glass shelves and save more than 70% from the refrigerator parts company.
Delivery was fast also. I placed the order on Friday night and received the products on Tuesday. One Day Glass really lives to its name!
