BJ Hinz (third generation) attended the University of Texas at Arlington. Upon coming home to work for the family business BJ went to an exclusive 3D Cad designing software company outside of Atlanta Georgia for intensive training in 3D designing, and CNC milling.

If you are fond of pearls and often wear your pearl necklace or bracelet, then you will probably need to have your pearls restrung. If there is space between your pearls it's an indication that it requires re-stringing. We have a master watchmaker with 31 years of experience. He has been trained in Omega factory. Had a great experience with Hinz! I had some old jewlery that I wanted to repurpose to be able to wear more often and with Nicole's vision she created a beautiful tennis bracelet and halo necklace. A great company!! I brought a very special ring in to be sized, the first time it was not the fit I wanted, so they kept it another week and it came out perfect!!! I am proudly wearing my David Yurman ring that belonged to my mom! The staff was warm and welcoming and never made me feel like I was bothering them - I'm picky lol

Thank you so much to Nicole and Mr. Hinz for designing the PERFECT custom wedding bands to go with my rings! My husband completely surprised me with the bands on our anniversary and I was amazed at how perfectly the bands go with my 10 year old ring. Not only did they do an incredible job, they also cleaned and tightened my original ring and resized it for us as needed! Thank you so so so much! We will definitely be back!

Very polite and professional. I came in to get an engagement ring re-sized and it was finished before I even got home after dropping it off.
I was accidentally charged quite a bit of money after using a computer someone else was on and left the previous customers quote on the terminal. The staff was very accommodating and refunded the money immediately.
I will be using this jeweler from now on and will be suggesting to friends and family.

Willie has been a genuine friend for sometime now so I knew I had to take him my rings for my 20th anniversary upgrade. He was careful to understand exactly what I wanted and did not want. Rose was absolutely amazing! From the time I messaged her (9:30 at night) she responded within minutes, was warm, welcoming and inviting. She redesigned my grandmothers wedding set into a new engagement ring in a vintage cluster setting and created two diamond pendant necklaces from two of the remaining diamonds. She was extremely responsive, exceeded my expectations, and was better priced than other fine jewelers in the Houston area.....not to mention the turn around time....2 weeks! I can't say enough about Hinz Jewelers! Willie and Rose are honest and so kind and do beautiful work! I just took my mom's wedding ring in to have the post for her main diamond fixed from when she banged it on something and bent it really bad. They fixed it up beautifully and it looks like a new ring for a very reasonable price. Now, my mom has decided she wants to lower that main diamond to be level with the halo of diamonds around it (ring is from the 80's) and Willie is going to do that - also for a very reasonable price. I came across this store a couple of years ago and found a true gem! Whether it is something simple as replacing a watch battery or creating a stunning custom piece of jewelry, the customer treatment is the same, outstanding! Mr. Willie, BJ, and Nicole are all awesome! They were able to design a custom ring guard to go perfectly with my odd-shaped marquise ring. I must say that I found the best jewelers in town. I had many pieces of jewelry that I wasn't using. I went into Hinz, and sat down with Rosa, one of the owners. I told her I wanted a ring that can be designed and I wanted to use the diamonds from my old jewelry. Rosa chose a ring that she had and said she could make it with the jewels that I had. It took 3 days to process including molds. I picked it up today and I am so in Love. I highly recommend this jewelry store for your future purchases, repairs and new designs!!

I love these guys! I found a ring I loved, but wanted a couple things changed on it. All I had to do was show Willie a picture, and he did everything I wanted and more!!
My husband bought my engagement ring and wedding band from them, and they are both perfect!
I so had them make my husbands wedding band. He wanted a custom wedding band that looked like an authentic duck band. And man did they just knock the ball out of the park!
They were good about emailing graphics to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted before they made them. And talk about amazing prices

I had BJ and the Hinz team design my wife's engagement ring and wedding ring. They did an amazing job. The thing I was most impressed with was the communication throughout the process. I live in Austin, so this was very important to me.
