Wonderful experience with April! She was gentle with my nails and the Gel-X looks amazing. My nails look beautiful and she was able to do the design I asked for and make it super cute. I would definitely recommend and will be going back!

April is such a kind human being who truly cares about the quality of her work. My nails look and feel fantastic and healthy. Her space is small but she take every precaution to make sure that you feel safe during this time and only takes 1 client at a time. I love her energy and nail art. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about April and her work, so here's a picture on the 10th day after my manicure: Gel-X extensions and polish. I have a toddler, do a lot of typing, wash my hands/dishes/etc. a lot, and generally don't take great care of my nails so this is phenomenal. But even better: she's also friendly, thoughtful, and professional. I'd never gotten enhancements before but I wanted to grow out my sad, scruffy nails - I'd stopped getting manicures a few years ago because other technicians had made me feel worse about them so this was a leap of faith.

I love getting my nails done with April. I live 2 hours away so when I’m in town, I always make sure I book an appointment with her. She reserves enough time for your nails and always does amazing work. She is very meticulous, pleasant, and I never leave unhappy. She’s like family. Her work is second to none. I always get compliments on my nails. I will never go anywhere else.

She is super knowledgeable about the type of products used on nails and was helpful in picking out my desired length and color. April is great! She is the only nail technician I will allow to touch my toes!! She is very clean, she actually switches out each pedicure bowl that she uses for each client! I love that about her cause I cannot stand the thought of putting my feet in those things, they just gross me out! So if you're all about hygiene and cleanliness, Polished by April is the place to go and to be pampered!

I am so happy I got my nails done by April! I haven’t had my nails done for a very long time. I don’t like places that pack in as many people as possible, rush through the whole process and do a ok job. April is completely different. She took her time to do a beautifully thorough job. The shape of my nails are exactly what I wanted and they absolutely look perfect! She has her own area to do nails inside Douglas Carroll Salon. I am so happy I found April. I love the personalized service she gives and feel like I am a VIP on every visit. She's quick, efficient, and does an amazing job. She also uses high quality products (my gel mani always lasts about 8-10 days longer than it did before I went to April) and pays amazing attention to detail.

This was our first experience with any nail salon in Raleigh. My four year old loves to have her nails painted, and requested rainbow nails with sparkles. April did an amazing job with my daughter, she was patient and engaging. Her nails look amazing and it's just what she wanted. I received a gel manicure and my nails look great. I appreciate her willingness to service myself and a four year old and the quality of work. I already made a return appointment.

My friend and I were visiting from out of town and had some time to spare. We both got manicures after exploring the town. April is amazing at what she does and is really efficient. I believe she does not have nexgen dipping powder yet, but her prices are good/avg for her services. She has a varied paint selection. April has done a great job transforming her salon into her dream. She definitely has a passion for her work and is very welcoming! I would def be coming back the next time I visit Raleigh.
