I went in for a spray tan. I'm fair skinned and did the level 2 clear. I didn't get any kind of color. I even exfoliated and avoided moisturizer the day of my visit. I'm very disappointed with my experience. The facilities were nice and clean but not worth paying for a tan that doesn't show up.

I love broad ripple tans! Their customer service is excellent and the owner is super chill. They never try to pressure you to spend more than you're willing or to purchase their upgrades/products unless it's truly a benefit to you! They may have lower quality beds than other tanning salons in the area, but they're always clean and get the job done!

I love Broad Ripple Tans! Been using for YEARS. Although I’ve strayed and tried a couple other places in the past I will always prefer and use BRT over them all! Staff is awesome and knows what’s best for all different levels of tanners. Also the bulbs are ALWAYS new and working to full potential so never have I felt a session was wasted.

Yesterday was my first time tanning in probably two decades, and also my first experience with Broad Ripple Tans. It just happened to be in between Points A and B, so I decided to stop in. Glad I did. Clean store, great service, and I'm really happy with the results. Not only was the pricing less than expected, but I appreciated feeling like my ignorance of tanning wasn't taken advantage of, monetarily speaking. They recommended just a short amount of time in a stand-up tanner so I didn't overdo it or get burnt. I was in and out lickety split, got pretty much exactly the splash of color I was hoping

Revised 3/25/19: After buying the "Tour of Ripoff" package a little over a year ago, I came back to get a quick tan using one of the sessions that I thought I had remaining as part of the package I bought. I had a bad feeling after the third time they asked for a bio-metric fingerprint scan. The package I bought for $25 was only good for two weeks, but I wasn't informed of this little detail until I came back 55 weeks later. So basically, I paid $25 for 1 tan. Not cool, BRT, so I'm calling you out on this.
Their real packages are horrendously overpriced. If you add up a year's worth of $25-$40

I first went to Broad Ripple Tan II back in 2009. I went for a couple of years and then started tanning at a bigger chain tanning salon (Sun Tan City, Glendale). Now, 10 years later, I went back to Broad Ripple Tan to get a base tan before a vacation. I really enjoy this salon. It's definitely a small local shop, in comparison to the Sun Tan city mentioned below, the beds and salon itself aren't as glamorous or modern. But, with a small shop comes great customer service. I was always so pressured to upgrade or buy lotions at Sun Tan City. But at Tan II, they just want to help you get

They seriously took the best pictures of this place. Because in my experience it didn't look this nice at all. Super dingy and dirty looking. All the bed are old and out dated. Had to switch beds because two bulbs were out, one was flickering but looked more like it was sparking. The reason why I gave 2 stars was because the staff was very nice and for free upgraded me because the bed I had wasn't in working order. Parking was a nightmare, if you have a bigger car don't even try to park here. Unfortunately I won't be back.

I needed to get a little glow this winter before my destination wedding and discovered this place. This is the only tanning salon I've been to that doesn't try to guilt you into buying lotion at each visit, and it's awesome that they give you the goggles for free! The girls who work at the desk are super friendly and I've never had to wait. All in all, I've been really impressed with this place!

I have an unlimited monthly spray tan package and I think this place is one of the most affordable I've ever been to! The girls that spray are super accommodating and always do what I ask! I've never walked away not liking my spray. The solution doesn't last long on my skin, in my opinion, but it's unlimited so I just go back and touch up as needed.
I've also been here for regular tanning. Beds work great!

I used to be a usual at Sun Tan City but they were very expensive & I did not always have the best customer service. But when I came to Broad Ripple Tans everything changed...
The stand up tanning bed is awesome! Just pop right in & pop right out. Simple & quick, just how I like it. Plus, the lotions and deals they have are amazing! Highly recommended.

I started coming here about a week before I went to Mexico for vacation to build up a bit of a base tan so I wouldn't end up a crispy lobster a day into my week vacation. I took advantage of their package deals and did a week long level 2 bed for $20. Not a bad deal compared to some of the chains I've seen advertised online.

Okay everyone, you are eating and shopping local...so TAN local! I am guilty of a spray tan member ship elsewhere (groan...you know who, the Walmart of Tanning) out of pure convenience, but when I want to UV tan (just a couple times a year, I know I know) I always come here. The Standup bed is my first choice and I don't mind waiting 5 minutes for it. You only need a few minutes to tan in this bed anyway. There is no sales pitchy screeching like elsewhere and I found my favorite lotion $20 less here (not even on sale). Everyone that works here is super nice, including the owner. I just

Favorite tanning place in Indianapolis! And trust me I have tried them all! I stick with the standup bed here because I feel it's the strongest for the shortest amount of time! It is so much better than Sun Tan City, they don't make you sign up with a credit card and waste money that isn't necessary. It's basically a dollar a minute! I purchase a package because they never expire and you obviously get more for your money! This place makes tanning easy and cheap!! Love it! The staff is super friendly always too!
