I have been a handyman nearly all my life. My experience working as an engineer, high school teacher, coach, custom woodworker, and project manager have prepared me to diagnose and repair just about anything in your home. I was born and raised in Ohio. After graduating from college I spent 5 months hiking the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine.
Upon completing the hike, I realized that I needed to live near the mountains, so my westward migration began. After brief stops in Missouri and Colorado, I arrived in Fairbanks, Alaska, where I taught high school math, coached cross country and track, then owned and operated a custom woodworking business for 4 years.
